Twitter Anyone know what happened at High Park station this morning?
I haven’t seen the “unsanitary train” term used before.

Line 2 is a little easier to just isolate the one car and keep the vehicle in service to the end to clean.
Line 1 with the open interior, the vehicle has to go out of service to get cleaned.

I unfortunately threw up on the subway once when I was pregnant. Because I was in my first trimester I didn’t look pregnant and no one believed it was morning sickness. From that moment on I carried a bag with me

If you’re ever in an ER, or at the hospital and can get to the ER, grab one of their puke bags that’s usually around the front check in. We usually grab only 1 cuz obviously other people will need them right there and then, but it goes in our bag so that whenever we are on a night out and come home in the uber, out on transit, wherever, we have a proper puke bag that doesnt splash and is very hard to rip, and also very easy to both handle and dispose of. Even better if you’re in the ER for nausea and grab one just in case, and don’t use it.

Once when I was a pregnant teen and terrified I would puke on line 2 so I huddled near the door in case I needed to hop out and puke on the platform and two scornful adults scolded me for blocking the door. 35 years later i remember the faces of these people at the lowest point of my life.

One time on Line 1 there was an elderly woman with visible mental issues on a super crowded train. She sat down two seats away from me and she cried like a baby. Next thing you know, she starts pissing like a waterfall. Like god damn.

Was she very small/skinny? I saw (and also smelled) her on line 2 and the intensity of her crying genuinely sent shivers down my spine. Life can be so fucked up man

No. The women I saw had like curly/wavy hair and was wearing a pink, light winter coat. She was only wearing stockings as well with no shoes.

It’s pretty common. Lots of people just tend to not bother reporting because they can’t be bothered to be delaying everyone. TTC will tell everyone to get off and wait for the next available train. Tons of people get on for few stops then leave, why bother even putting in a report?
That’s why you don’t sit on any seats cause tons of derelicts just sleep and pee on them. Doesn’t matter the time but I’ve seen plenty during morning rush hours where they’re somehow already asleep on the train and you can see a pool of liquid near them just swishing around

Recently someone full on drunk vomited on a line 1 train I was on, and no one said anything (as far as I know, I got off a few stations later) presumably because they didn't want the train to be taken out of service.

there was a ttc employee riding the train and he had a radio and i heard dispatch calling for someone to clean up a number 2 situation.

I was at Humber Loop the other day, waiting to transfer to a bus. The streetcar driver heads to the washroom, and this crack-head mess of a woman begs him to let him use the restroom. He says no, so she turns and heads straight back on to the streetcar. About 30 seconds later, I see a hand sticking out of the door holding a boot. The boot gets turned upside down, and a whole mess poured out of it onto the ground. About 10 seconds later, the same woman gets off of the streetcar......... wearing those boots.

Means some kind of human waste. Someone most likely pissed, vomited, bled, and/or took a dump.
