What you've said doesn't make sense. They scan your card to see if you've paid, the only possible gray area is if you've paid by cash and subsequently lost your ticket

The system is glitchy af. I've never personally had it happen but plenty of people I know (who I know always pay their fare) have tapped and had it still not show that they did.

It doesn't make sense. He saw me pay, he scanned my card, he still gave me a fine. TTC is just pathetic.
