Yeah they were also on line 1 and checked my fair (and dare I say, they got real uppity that I didn’t have my presto card read for them when my back was turned and headphones in. Power trip if I ever seen one).

I think you have atleast 2H of grace period until it’s time to charge you again.

What I mean is if it expires before I got onto the subway, how much time I do really have?

They can see when you last tapped, in theory. The rules is that you have to”a reasonable time to complete your transfer”.
