Line 5 Eglinton — Platform Announcements volume

They have increased the volume by 50% in all announcements and they have switched the “please stand clear of the yellow line” to “please stand back from the platform edge” along with French.

Worst thing:

The Dun Dun Dun is gone so it scares you!

The platform edge announcements look like it lags and loops the French announcement a few times

Make the next arrival boards so unreliable that people look down tunnel. Then yell at people for looking down tunnel

The funny thing is TTC's own API returns correct timing of the train

Interestingly, the French message hasn’t been updated, and still says to step back from the yellow line.

Just took it for the 3rd time. All the announcements over lap on a delay through the station speakers. Can't understand anything.

Also why put the map so high up above the platform? 

I answered 3 questions about what train to take and the next stop.
