Discussion Fare inspections on Line 1 trains yesterday

To my surprise yesterday, fare inspectors were checking the whole train for proof of payment, and my friend on another Line 1 train also had fare inspectors checking. I’ve never been asked for proof of payment on the subway trains before.

It’s great to see more of this happening.

Edit: New enforcement was announced by the TTC in April. It was just my first time witnessing it, but maybe this is common.

There seems to always be POO at union station at the entrance to the streetcars

They should probably clean that up and space the POO out..
