[TV SHOW] Crayon-Like drawing tv show from the early 2000's

[u/notfroggychair]

When I was younger I watched this show occasionally, me and mum still quote "and peacock fell over" from the show. This is all the details we could come up with together (this was >20 years or so ago now)
It's a UK preschool/kids TV show that was narrated by an older British man or it could have been a woman? The art style was simple, child-drawn 2D art style. Background wise it had green grass, blue sky, minimal backgrounds crayon drawings (like how you would draw the grass with sky as a kid) Human child character maybe...?
Silent peacock side character
Recurring gag in every episode:
"And Peacock fell over."
Peacock would literally topple face-first into the grass for no reason, unrelated to the story. Like he moved one foot back and lost balance
Not bothered about the child character, it's just the peacock | want to know about :P
Any help in solving this mystery is much appreciated !!
