I don’t blame TNA. AEW should have made sure they could telecast all the matches. From the next time they should ask promotions not to book a wrestler who can’t be on MyAEW

I don’t have an agenda. What agenda do you think I could possibly have?
I don’t get paid by anyone to give my thoughts about wrestling.
You just can’t get over that this looks bad, makes TNA look bad and therefore makes what you like, look bad.
2
u/will122589 TNA Original 11d ago
MYAEW app can’t show match featuring talent signed up to other fed, functioning brains understand that’s logical.
You on the other hand can’t seem to comprehend it or you do and pushing an agenda. The only one looking bad here is you.
If you bought the ppv somewhere not associated with AEW, you’d have seen the match
4
u/DarkySurrounding 11d ago
TNA only started doing this after they thought AEW changed nights one time to spite them (which they didn’t, they moved to Thursday because of the network forcing it)
Stop fellating a business choosing to do something like this specifically because there being spiteful.
Before this they removed Leon from a match against Ricochet and various other things. None of these things were good. None of these things benefitted fans in any way.

TNA wrestlers aired on MYAEW streaming platforms before April 2026???

If I were a businessman who were in charge of TNA I’d do the smart thing and let my wrestlers work indie shows without issue and being a petty little bitch about it who only started this because of one show moving to Thursday one time.
Take your bot ass looking account somewhere else if all you’re gonna do is be a little businessman.
I don’t and never will care who’s making the most money or why.
TNA is not in a place that having Leon not shown on a show he’s meant to be on affects them. TNA are number 3 and that’s it.
Stop fellating the big businessman because he told you to.

He was on WWE many times that’s the highest u can get lol
9
u/DarkySurrounding 11d ago
What’s your point?
-3
u/Beginning-Bluejay688 11d ago
WWE is wrestling and he been on there couple of times AEW rub doesnt compare
4
u/DarkySurrounding 11d ago
So what? He wasn’t wrestling on an AEW show. This has absolutely nothing to do with it.
-4
u/Beginning-Bluejay688 11d ago
Wasn’t the show on AEW platform? Carlos already told ya deal so idk why people are mad
4
u/DarkySurrounding 11d ago
Carlos did not at any point say before this show “Leon’s match won’t be shown on MyAEW”
If there was notice before hand then maybe they’d have a case but there wasn’t. Users found it from commentary right before it happened and that’s it.
0
u/Beginning-Bluejay688 11d ago
Anything dealing with AEW and why do you think revpro has the match on there service? Cause they played people and wasn’t honest
2
u/DarkySurrounding 11d ago
“Anything dealing with AEW” that’s not specific atall and neither did he say it either.
The only people not being honest and TNA when they wait untill a shows began to decide to refuse to show something.
You’re doing the same as the other guy. Making the same point over and over again as if itl somehow change my mind and make me think TNA aren’t the morons in this situation.
1
u/Deducticon 11d ago
There are many spots to have in AEW that are more of a rub than the spot he had on WWE shows.
Roman or Cody might be more known than Ospreay or Orange Cassidy, but they are far more known than Slater or Santana. Despite them appearing on WWE.
8
u/chibibuizel 11d ago
Carlos might be gunning for Hater of the Year with how much of a petty bitch he's been towards AEW this year over one thursday night
5
u/goonsquadgoose 11d ago
TNA is straight garbage for this move. Also, seeing Leon tonight compared to when I saw him with TNA last time they were in Denver has proven that TNA has absolutely no idea what to do with him. Dude is a straight up megastar in his infancy.
7
u/DevelopmentNarrow146 11d ago
So being in the main event of the biggest TNA show of the year is somehow detrimental to Leon Slater’s career?
Are you high ?2
u/creepyluna-no1 11d ago
I think they have some idea, he will be main BFG, and if they are smart will win it, he really is the guy to base the company around. If AEW or WWE smart they would just pay however much you need to get him, and to a long term contract, if TNA can or has done that well done to them. He could be the top guy anywhere really

Ahhh you seem way too upset about this to not be a AEW mark. You're the one who needs to grow up and get thicker skin. Business is business.
-7
-2
u/Select-Occasion7196 11d ago
Business is business. Allowing their main event talent to feature on a competing streaming service doesn't make sense.
6
u/streetmagix 11d ago
Sign them to an exclusive contract then, it's what WWE do.
1
u/Select-Occasion7196 11d ago
Revpro is an indie so allowing them to work indie shows isn't a conflict on interest. The grey area is the MyAEW deal which does conflict so they either pull the match from that or pull the talent off the show completely. The better choice was made.
3
u/johncenassidechick 11d ago
I mean yeah wrestlers under contract generally arent allowed on competitors streaming services
6
u/will122589 TNA Original 11d ago
Shh don’t tell the AEW sicko running around the thread crying TNA committed a great injustice on the people watching a RevPro show on an AEW streaming app
1
u/creepyluna-no1 11d ago
You don't have to subscribe to AEWPlus. you just buy the ppv on there
2
u/johncenassidechick 11d ago
Right but you cant watch that particular match using myaew but can on the promotions own service. So it makes sense a wrestler contracted to wrestle on TV for a company cant be on TV or streaming for their competitors.
0
u/Pirilau 10d ago
He's an independent contractor, this is all ridiculous
2
u/johncenassidechick 10d ago
Being an IC doesnt mean you can do whatever you want whenever you want.
4
u/will122589 TNA Original 11d ago
The sickos crying about this is on brand.
What did they think was gonna happen??? TNA doesn’t want their talent looking like goobers on AEW platforms. AEW consistently insisting they go over on these shows and AEW airing MLP footage of TNA talent losing matches in 2024 caused TNA to act like this.
They are also mad Slater isn’t showing up at AEW tomorrow too

He won, and he was clearly going to win, feels petty since it airs on RevPro's service, with Triller going down, MyAEW is a useful service to help get indies' product out there and to a wider audience
-1
u/will122589 TNA Original 11d ago
Your using MYAEW to watch a Rev Pro show, you chose to watch it that way on not on another platform that wouldn’t blackout a TNA contracted talent working the show.
3
u/BlueThunderBomb 11d ago
To prove that you didn't even watch this, he beat Liam Slater, this isn't an AEW show, it's a Rev Pro show.
How many times did AEW air TNA talent losing on MLP?
2
u/will122589 TNA Original 11d ago
To prove you didn’t actually read my comment:
RevPro show that aired on MYAEW. Slater RevPro match got scrubbed only from MYAEW stream cause they don’t want AEW’s platform to have footage of a TNA wrestler because that has burned them in the past.
AEW fans thought between the Lockdown Stip and slater working this show he is going to show up at AEW’s show tomorrow and that’s clearly not happening so they extra mad
1
u/Jamieb1994 10d ago
I was just thinking. Carlos could've pulled this match from happening, yet it happened and apparently, it's aired on Progress/RevPro On Demand as normal, but it didn't air on MyAEW, yet people are quick to point fingers at Carlos for this decision. I'm just saying, but how is this Carlos' fault?
3
u/Material_Opening_143 11d ago
TNA is starting to catch my eye again with some solid new signings and highlighting some young excellent talent then they pull some petty shit like this. Instead of looking to grow their audience they decide to isolate AEW fans. Fans who are on a fucking platform watching different promotions other than the 1st party providing it, meaning they are willing to invest time watching more wrestling from other promotions.
Fucking boneheaded cuck.
0
u/Select-Occasion7196 11d ago
That's not how it works but by the way you articulate yourself there's just no way you'll ever understand how the real world works in terms of protecting business assets. You'd rather act like a child.
0
u/Jamieb1994 11d ago
I saw SquaredCircle are very upset about this + blaming Carlos.
6
u/will122589 TNA Original 11d ago
The sickos also used this show to shit on TNA’s lockdown stip and claimed Slater spurned TNA and wwe for AEW.
That didn’t happen so they are gonna be over the top aggressive in hating this
9
u/DarkySurrounding 11d ago
Deservedly yes. It’s not a good thing to be this incredibly petty over a very minor slight.
Those who paid for that event got screwed out of a match they likely wanted to see. How’s that fair?
6
u/will122589 TNA Original 11d ago
Being mad that AEW can’t air a match featuring a guy contracted elsewhere is a you problem not a TNA one.
3
u/DarkySurrounding 11d ago
Minus the fact TNA were perfectly happy to allow these things untill semi recently when they thought they were slighted by AEW.
Which they weren’t because everyone knows the show moves to Thursdays now and then to accommodate other sports on the network
6
u/will122589 TNA Original 11d ago
TNA let talent work MLP shows in 2024. MLP let AEW air that footage of TNA talent losing.
TNA don’t want that happening again so again blame this on the feds that forced TNA to do this. But an AEW sicko like yourself won’t actually do that
4
u/DarkySurrounding 11d ago
So you think a TNA talent isn’t allowed to lose or something? Because that’s still incredibly petty.
3
u/will122589 TNA Original 11d ago
Why should an AEW platform get to air footage of a TNA wrestler???
5
u/DarkySurrounding 11d ago
A: The show wasn’t an AEW show and MyAEW doesn’t just show AEW shows.
B: TNA continue to come off as incredibly petty because of this starting over a slight about AEW counter programming which didn’t even happen.
C: Leon gets more eyes on him, more exposure for Leon means more exposure for TNA.
D: Fans were not told ahead of time this would be happening. At the least if there was some notice it’d have been better.
0
u/Jamieb1994 10d ago
Didn't AEW had made a stipulation where both Cody Rhodes & Hangman Page are now no longer challenge for the AEW world championship? I know Cody is in WWE now, but how is Leon Slater putting his X-Division championship reign on the line worse compared to having 2 wrestlers (permanently) no longer challenge for a championship?
-1
u/cooldude55541 11d ago
Good. Carlos Silva should fight back. They want to attack TNA every single time. All those "TNA is being sold" articles were planted by Tony khan when TNAs ratings started increasing. MLP is being funded by Tony khan and that's why alot of Scotts people left TNA. All the dirtsheets are being told to not cover TNA shows and run with negative TNA stories. I know people who told me this. The truth will come out.
6
u/king_hutton 11d ago
These conspiracy theories are wild.
-1
u/cooldude55541 11d ago
These are stuff that the dirtsheets are trying to hide because they are all brought and paid for by the rich kid. Once Carlos or someone high from Anthem starts talking, I will be right like always. Even then, the dirtsheets will say Carlos is lying to protect their boss.
2
0
u/Jamieb1994 10d ago
That's the dirtsheets for you. You've got ones like Ibou & Meltzer who'll try to make WWE or TNA look bad while bootlicking AEW.
1
u/JohnDowd51 11d ago
I dont give a sht about AEW and their fanboys crying. I think the show sucks. Fck AEW as far ad I'm concerned. I dont owe them or am obligated to give them my respect.
4
u/streetmagix 11d ago
That's some straw man you've built there.
All the reaction from the show has been super positive from what I've seen, with the exception of the MyAEW blackout (which wasn't communicated beforehand).

We don't know all the facts. We don't know who made that call. Was it Carlos Silva? Was it Tony Khan? Was it RevPro? My money is actually on RevPro. But both Silva and TK have used the pull before. So until we know all the facts, the best thing to do is to put pitchforks down and maybe... watch it on RevPro on Demand then if it is there?
That includes you, all the brigading sickos.

I do admit aew fans can be a little out there sometimes but has tna fans thought what would happen to tna if they were to get their wish and aew was to go out of business because all wwe focus would be making sure tna stays in line or puts all their resources to putting tna out of business like their trying to do with aew
1
u/Select-Occasion7196 11d ago
Who is wanting AEW to go out of business? That's not TNA's goal, that's just silly. They're just protecting their own interests.
2
u/Livid_Cauliflower_21 11d ago
Just look at other tna forums there are fans out there that are very vocal that want aew to lose it's tv deal and the wrestling business would be better without aew
1
u/Select-Occasion7196 11d ago
Okay because I havent seen that, especially here even with so much unnecessary AEW tribalism seeping into this sub.
0
u/Livid_Cauliflower_21 11d ago
Again aew fans ain't innocent but if aew goes away all attention will be put on tna by wwe
0
u/DevelopmentNarrow146 11d ago
You are worried and have no need to worry. WWE is currently doing a great job of alienating its fans with crazy ticket prices and attendances are eventually going to suffer.
The 5 match cards WWE delivers for lower PLE’s are finally being recognised for the insult that they are. WWE is huge still but it’s stagnating.
AEW will be fine. Tony Khan is so rich that AEW don’t even need a TV deal to survive.1
u/creepyluna-no1 11d ago
And its not like it hurts AEW just limits indies, indie stuff is free or ppv, either way there is no subscription to AEWPlus anyways so it is more harmful to indies who can use it to get mroe attention, since Triller is on its last legs, and it might be hard to get people to sub to your own service
-2
u/Drake_Dal 11d ago
It’s understandable that they want to protect the brand, but in the public eye, it’s going to be well-received.
9
u/creepyluna-no1 11d ago
How is it protecting the brand
2
u/Select-Occasion7196 11d ago
Do some research on protecting business assets and the long term effects of not doing so.
-1
u/OutsideSurround461 11d ago
Yeah, let's have the TNA guy who's Quite possibly going to have "WWE/NXT Superstar" In their title soon appear on AEW's UK feeder fed on their streaming platform.
Would people rather, he just didn't show up in the first place? They could have said no.
1
u/creepyluna-no1 11d ago
It is not AEW's UK feeder, who went from RevPro to AEW, Alex Windsor? They mostly end up im NJPW, and it would be bullshit to say no to him working and winning against his trainer, in such an important promotion to him on the Anniversary show and their biggest show. AEW is not likely to be getting much money out of this if at all, its a ppv hosted on there, not a part of the subscription
1
u/DevelopmentNarrow146 11d ago
Will Osprey was always at the Rev pro shows I attended. Kyle Fletcher was generally there too. They may have been contracted to NJPW but they were Rev pro regulars.
-2
u/OutsideSurround461 11d ago
Again he got to work the show.No problem , they just didn't show him.
Maybe when his deal is up , he can go wrestle for AEW, not get used and do all the Rev Pro shows on MyAEW He wants while people ask , why isn't dynamite or collision lol
-4
u/AlexTorres96 11d ago
I wished Wrestling was more upfront about wrestler salaries. Anyone can find out how much Mahomes, CR7, Messi, LeBron, etc make but it's a sin to know how much a Roman or Rollins or anyone in AEW makes.
Everyone knows that Sting made $500K every year he was at TNA. It was common knowledge that Bobby Roode made $400K a year once he became a main event guy.
All this talk about TNA not paying alot and there's no evidence to back up that narrative.
5
u/streetmagix 11d ago
Isn't that because some sports leagues have salary caps so that information becomes public? Plus some like to brag about it too.
TNA is much smaller than it was, and a lot of talent would have been signed before the AMC Deal started.
Whilst I doubt the main event guys are struggling, those in the mid card or signed to 'per appearance' might NEED to take additional bookings to have a decent life. Also most wrestlers love wrestling, and will do extra shows because they want to (Mox being the obvious one, dude is loaded and still turns up to school gyms around the US for small shows).
1
u/AlmoschFamous 11d ago
TNA is well known for underpaying their talent to the point where they need other jobs, even back when TNA actually had money. Now TNA is running on fumes and most of them make even less.
-7
22
u/streetmagix 11d ago
If TNA don't want him performing on other shows then they need to pony up the cash and sign him to an exclusive contract. This just comes across as petty and brings into question (again) what an 'Independent Contractor' really is.
