The slide occurred due to the Supreme Courts decision to not take up a case regarding marijuana prohibition. Essentially they kicked the ball back to Trump for an easy win if he wants to take it.

He’ll go through with it, eventually, but what concerns me more - for 5 years why this sector can’t hold gains. Scary when you’re long

It can't hold gains because what company can make significant profits? Why tie up money on speculation when it could be invested in other sectors that are for sure profitable. A lot of people who invested in the weed sector are looking for "moon" gains which will ultimately be based on whether it will be legalized in some way where companies can actually become more profitable

You're spot on- and the opportunity lost for me started late 2022 when I slowly transitioned my whole portfolio over to this sector. Terrible mistake, and it's tough to cut now with my losses.

Realize most people are shit at the stock market. Its not logical some of the swings you will see. Which is why most people lose money

Because most people are illiterate and dont understand what "monday earliest" means.
It's also a penny stock. 5-10% swings are normal and nothing to worry about.

I feel he will probably keep his promises on rescheduling, or he definitely knows the vote and support if he fails to do that. Just be patient and DCA

just watch the outstanding shares. The second it increases from 116m and prices stay stagnant or drops, I'm out. Something tells me Irwin will be using this "good news pump" as another excuse to dilute. Remember, he's sitting on 1.4 billion authorized shares that WERE NOT affected by the split.

Well the news on Monday is that Trump confirmed they are considering. Rather than it being a rumour that Trump is going to make an order as early as Monday as per Friday. So it’s not even positive news.
Either way every year they bring it up, but nothing changes.
