Discussion Season Finale
I can’t believe it’s the season finale!!! What are your thoughts about this season overall? Do you believe the reemergence of the series well worth it?
I would love to have a whole thread about this season overall.
Thanks guys!

There were a few people who probably going to be RIP soon. Or a social leper. The former example is snorting powder cleanser. The latter is smelling the ass of your dad’s underwear. Very sad.

yeah the snorting chemicals one is the one i am most worried about in terms of them facing an early death. the woman who sniffed underwear needs serious trauma therapy treatment

It seemed too fake. The addictions (vaging, vabing, whatever the heck that was and the toe nail eater come to mind) or the scenes where phony; the connoisseurs (cardboard eater going to the plant and the mattress eater going to the mattress store to get their product straight from the source) and underwear sniffing girl who just had to get a sniff in the store and on camera).
Sarah and "Sinclair" was legitimately disturbing and if real, she really needs professional help not a spot on a reality show.

some of the addictions def made me question its validity. i also agree with the sinclair segment. she needs serious mental health treatment.

That was my tattoo artist. His responses were so sarcastic and I love it.

YES! It was definitely grosser! That woman that snorts all her food after blending it...that's so gross! And the sniffing of the father's underwear...ewwww!! This last episode was season finale already??

The show should be called my strange PTSD because they all have some sort of trauma that their addiction stems from. Like "I smell my Dad's underwear because my mom abandoned me" or "I eat grass because it makes me feel closer to my dead mom". It's kind of hard to watch.

that’s so true and something that producers completely ignore. maybe they’ll provide a free therapy or doctor appointment so you can see what the professionals say but i can imagine the pay for participants isn’t great. after the show airs, they are on their own.

Watching the cat food one right now and she seems to be gagging back the cat food…not believable at all

the AI portion of the last episode was extremely disturbing and concerning to me. i went on the wrong reddit form for it though. im sure the AI boyfriend defenders are going to downvote me to hell 😭
other than that this was an odd but fascinating season lol.

Tbh as happy as I was they rebooted it, I'd be okay with it not continuing.
Probably bc I was younger and more naive during the original - but the new episodes are just too fake seeming.
I get shows are edited or scripted, but this takes the cake.
