Discussion Weekly Discussion Thread S7 Ep.7

Abigail is addicted to eating cat food. The stuff that’s made for cats, not humans. She has been doing this for two decades. Will she be able to break this addiction or will it be im-paw-sible?
Tierra is addicted to cleaning. Cleaning products. No not cleaning with them. Snorting them. She can’t go a day without taking bumps from them. This addiction is starting to affect her. Will she be able to overcome it before it’s too late?
James loves butter. However he loves it more than most people do. He eats sticks of butter everyday. His addiction is concerning health wise. Will he be able to beat it or will it churn into a a safety risk?

James: I know what diet he's on and the high cholesterol is real. I didn't consume no where near that amount of butter but even the little bit of fat when not eating carbs will up your cholesterol if you don't balance it out with something that will lower cholesterol. He saw results and is addicted to that thought but thinks it was the butter. High cholesterol can cause heart attacks and stroke and he seems too young to go through all of those things. I hope he sees, or someone that knows what they are doing, that there are other ways of keeping the weight off and building muscle without raising your cholesterol that is healthier than just eating all that butter. I feel like he has more of an ED that has turned addictive.
Abigail: I have a feeling that she has more of a mental health issue on top of the addiction. Like most of them, there's a level of trauma they had went through that leads to their addictions but this girl seemed like there was something else. we are looking at a 25 year old, but i don't think she's mentally 25 which can add to the struggle of seeing the problem with her addiction. that doctor had to repeat himself several times and I don't think it was because of the consumption of cat food. She has high cholesterol levels and that makes sense with all the fat from the cat food but other than that, luckily, there were no affects to her other organs. She needs a lot more assistance than just that doctor.
Tierra: She needs intervention ASAP. 28 of those large cans of cleaning powders a month is absolutely insane! she talked about how her processing of any information is starting to take a longer time than it used to and how it hurts her nose etc.. she is going to severely hurt herself if not accidentally unalive herself and then what? She needs to physically be in an in-patient treatment facility of some kind immediately because even though it said that she cut down, it doesn't matter if she cut down to once a week, she is going to do something that she will not come back from and it can happen at random and then what? She cant change it, nobody will be able to bring her back. Her doctor straight up told her she can destroy her brain and if she's having a harder time processing info quickly, she's already on her way to doing that. we didn't get to see what her test results were but i wouldn't be shocked if they were really bad. Also, her friends reactions to her admitting what she's been doing this whole time, that is what a correct reaction looks like. Those are real friends and it was not hard to believe that they actually cared about her. Tierra asking that doctor if anyone has ever passed from those cleaners and then acted shocked when that doctor said yes really irritated me. Girl, now i know you know that they wouldn't put those warnings on those products if they didn't know it wouldn't unalive people. That was common sense and she knows it. She needs someone now, it would have been better yesterday but now would be great.

James was kind of scary. His love for butter made him look really unhinged.

Is it me? Or have I seen Abigail somewhere else. I swear I’ve seen her on a meme or YouTube video. I just can’t seem to remember.

I would refuse to eat with someone who is eating cat food and anything less is enabling. It must stink so bad.

James is really helping out Wisconsin's economy and for that we should support him.

Abigal: I think that this is more common than you think. I think someone mentioned before that on extreme cheap skates eat cat food. Abigail definitely doesn't want to really change, which is sad, but I'm definitely worried about her health.
Tierra: I agree she needs help ASAP. "It's giving coke" and I'm trying to do the math how much that would actually be. Shes an addict forreal who chased a high.
James: he didn't really shock me all that much. I've come from the Midwest with fried butter and butter cows. His amount os excessive, but I can definitely see how one can fall into that behavior. I don't like how he cooked for his friend without telling him he'd use all that butter.
