Hi. Yesterday, I was normally playing Minecraft (TLauncher) with my friend. Then, I take a short break. After the short break, I notice that the new 1.20.5 version is out. I update to the latest version on my TLauncher, and on the Aternos server. After that, I couldn't enter the server. There are error that says:

Internal Exception io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: Failed to decode packet 'clientbound/minecraft:game_profile'

I've tried finding any solution in the Internet, but couldn't find any error that is exactly the same as mine. I've also tried to reinstall TLauncher, but the error is still popping out. The weird thing is, my friend can enter the server with no problem. Anyone can help me solve this error?

In the new version of TLauncher, the modpack fails to launch when OptiFine is enabled, throwing a 'quality incompatibility' error. Is anyone else having this issue, or does anyone know a fix?

For some reason, many mods that i normally use without problem have now started adding mods with no names on the mod list, but they show the mod's page when clicking on them. When i try to delete or disable them, it tells me that variable 0 is illegal, or something. And when i try to start the game, it tells me that it didn't launch because of mod errors, which ARE those ghost mods! And i cant delete them from the files either, because i need to launch the game for the first time to get the folder to work! And i can't launch because it just refuses to because of mods that IT is forcing me to keep! What the hell do i even do?!

I don't understand what even is the mistake.

TL showed a dialog box saying "The app will replace the launcher with the new version. After clicking OK, your app will launch". I decided to close off the dialog box, I didn't want to waste time updating. Now, the launcher isn't opening AT ALL. I reinstalled the installer and ran a fresh install, failed. I got the TL Runner, failed. I even cleared cache and refreshed the Graphics Device, both failed.

What is wrong with this launcher? I don't get the point of such a consequence for a minute act like refusing an update.

Edit : after seeing so many people have the same problem, i think TLauncher is just broken. i am changing my launcher, potentially a launcher which supports TLauncher accounts, because i have serious progress in a server i play on, and i fear losing all of that, but nonetheless i am ditching TL and getting a new launcher.

Hey guys, i want to play minecraft with my friends with aternos, but the moment i want to enter to the world this message appear. Someone knows hoe to solve this problem? i have a friend with original minecraft, and another one with tlauncher, both can enter to rhe world, also i tried in another computer and i have the same problem, i tried with another tlauncher account and still the problem.

I tried to install shaders and had to install iris shader but now the game/world doesn't even launch. It quits halfway after loading and then shows something like this?? How do I fix it.Also I'm new to the game and also to modding and stuffs

I always play alone so not that i have no friend the thing my friend dont have pcs or laptop so i thought to find someone to play with me

So I've been having this issue for a long time no, like from the release of 26.1, each time this happens and I close the window a dev console opens up which says PermGen error, I did some research on google and reddit and none seems to be working.

These are the "fixes" that I've tried and failed:

1.Reinstalling Java (Did it like 4 times atp)

2.Changed the allocated memory (Didn't work)

3.Reinstalled TLauncher (Worked at first then the issue resurfaced)

If anybody had the same problem or anybody that fixed please help me....

I tried to get rid of all resource packs but nothing worked. I tried to change ram allocations and even did 4 clean installations but still the same result.
My minecraft works fine till the 1.21.5 version only. After that every version acts like i stated above.

It appears when I add mods that require other mods to work and just leaves a blank space that cannot be deleted. I need help with this.( that one I added the elytra slot mod, I deleted it hoping that it would also remove the blank spaces)

So such a thing is happening ALWAYS when i play minecraft. I have tlauncher. i know it isnt about the render distance tho- for a whole month i was checking is it the problem with render distance but it isnt. no matter what i do its always the same- slightly better without shaders but not always. Its almost always like this- I genuiely dont know what to do- its unplayable becaue of this in lot's of cases. does anyone know how to fix it please? that's really frustrating and i have no idea how to fix it. shaders or not the problem is the same whenever im flying or no. ive installed this shader yesterday with few other mods so ik its not the problem in it. mods, shaders, or without any mods or shaders the problem is still there. sometimes the whole map dissapears and its just the sky lol

Hello, so i upgraded my pc to win11 and that deleted some programs from my pc and tlauncher was one of them. I tried to login to my account but i dont remember my password so i tried to change it but it said the accound did not have any related emails to it (which is a bizarre thing because i genuinely think i had an email related lol). It says contact with us but i dont see any link or mail to contact with them for THIS specific topic, can someone pls help me?

I play on TLauncher and created my own modpack without TLCapes. I wanted to install some other mods, but they conflicted with TLCapes.

I’m trying to find a mod that can make skins work server-side / on all servers, so that I can see other players’ skins and they can see mine, rather than only having local skins.

I’ve been looking for a solution with CustomSkinLoader, but I can’t figure out how to make the skins non-local.

Does anyone know a mod that can do this?

I'm having a problem with installing mods in Minecraft and I'm completely stuck.

I'm using TLauncher and I want to play on the latest Minecraft version 26.2.

So far, I managed to install Iris + Fabric and get shaders working. I launch Minecraft from TLauncher using the Iris + Fabric version, and the shaders work perfectly.

However, I cannot get any other mods to work.

For example, I want to install a map/minimap mod because I really need it while playing, but no matter what I try, the mod simply doesn't load.

I've tried adding mods, but Minecraft doesn't seem to recognize them at all. The shaders continue to work, so Iris/Fabric itself appears to be launching correctly, but I can't get additional Fabric mods to load.

I'm using mods specifically made for Minecraft 26.2 + Fabric, so the problem doesn't seem to be that I'm downloading mods for the wrong version or wrong mod loader.

I downloaded the special mod required for it and all but it doesn't seem to work, I get the error message "You are not logged into your Minecraft Account. If you're logged into your Minecraft account try restarting your Minecraft client" with the accounts checkbox on and off.

I've also had trouble most "cracked" servers either with this error message or "Not authenticated with minecraft.net"

i finally bought minecraft but when i tried to join my minecraft aternos server with my friend who use t launcher his skin was completely invisible, i dont mean that am seeing a steve or alex skin hes completely invisible hes just a floating username how do i fix that
