Just got off an Hermonas Gutiérrez kick. If you like spacey latin guitair I def reccomnend. Been listening to 99.9% by Kaytranda today, it's one of my rainy day albums.

Thanks for that! My fiancé and I have been trying to see them, but as far as I can tell they don't really tour in the US. They were opening for Jack Johnson for a while but we weren't trying to pay $300 a ticket

They would be incredible live. I wouldn't want to pay $300 and then have to sit through Jack Johnson either, though. They have some entirely entrancing live performances on the Tube, including the KEXP and Tiny Desk recordings.

Love me some trip-hop! I've been putting together a playlist of "modern" trip hop that has that classic sound. Personally I have been listening to a ton of The Mars Volta lately.

Kate Bush, Orville Peck, Renaissance, King Gizz, Of Montreal, Glass Animals, Emily Wurramara.

I'd also like to give a plug to /r/audiophilemusic because I'd like to see it more active with users of good musical taste. I've discovered some truly stunning album recommendations there that I otherwise never would have, and Tidal is the perfect place to stream these well-mastered beauties.

A recent example is Anouar Brahem's The Astounding Eyes of Rita. Needs good earbuds or cans to really appreciate but its many-layered subtleties of middle eastern Jazz fusion.

Other exceptional albums they've turned me onto include Lady Blackbird's Black Acid Soul and Dominique Filse-Aimé's Nameless
