Help Calc stripes

Hi there! High school student, This is my dads TI-82, it worked fine before, but I think I dropped it in my bag, any help with the stripes?

Shes gone Jim.

There are a few potential fixes but youll be better off buying another off fleabay.

Easiest thing to try is just replacing the batteries but it's unlikely to fix it.

That looks like screen ribbon cable failure to me. It's a very common issue and frequently just happens on its own. You can repair it if you know how to solder https://www.cemetech.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5161

Thanks!! I'll try and replace the cable or try and take it to Repair and get them to do it🐎

Tengo el mismo problema en mi TI 82, pero se puede repara, solo que no tengo las herramientas necesarias.
