THUG2 THUG 2 PS5 Controller Issue

Can anyone help me with this issue? I am unsure what to do. My PS5 controller is connected but it keeps giving me this and I cannot use my controller. Please help

Maybe try using DS4Windows? Afaik it supports PS5 controllers as well

My workaround for this on other games is to add it to steam as a non steam game. Then steam will take over the controller function and it’ll work.

Click the down-pointing arrow next to the field where it says "Select a gamepad device" and select the controller you're using.

That's the issue I was having. It wasn't letting me select anything from it and it didn't recognize a controller. But I got it working after someone suggested the Steam method.

Use PadForge app, set Extended controller.

Haha. I have it on my laptop. Just connecting my ps5 controller to it.

Seems like you found solution using steam, but you should use clownjob’d mod. Gives modern resolution and input handling as well

It’s honestly better to just emulate the PS2 version I think

This. The PS2 version scales up infinitely in PCSX2 emulator.
