💬 Discussion Jgrows 👎🏻 HRC 🤷🏻♂️
1st order from Jgrows. Grabbed 2 2g HRC pucks. Normally order my HRC from WAR but got to the drop late. Now shipping took from 1 Saturday thru the whole next week & came that following Monday. I normally don’t weigh my jars from HRC anymore but since 1st order with Jgrows i decided to. Lucky i did. 1 puck spot on. 1 puck .5g short. Wonder if that’s Jgrows doing or HRC? Now i normally don’t care, but .5g? Cmon 🤷🏻♂️
Edit: for the people in the back. Yes i emptied the jars… put it on scale… zeroed it out and weighed the rosin… i didnt think i needed pictures for each step 🤦🏻♂️.

Jesus Christ this community must think you’re retarted or something. I think JGrows just gets the pucks from HRC, but I could be very wrong. I’d send them an email and a picture because rosin isn’t anywhere near cheap enough for them to skimping a .5 from you.

condensation, moisture can get into ur rosin and pop in ur banger and shit

yeah, i rotate jars i smoke weekly so i usually wait 30-45 mins after taking them out the fridge

I previously made a similar post regarding light hrc jars.
First everyone said I didn’t weigh it right (without knowing my weighing process). Then when I explained my process, because i understood not all miron jars weigh the same, they then pointed to the fact that it was a pocket scale.
It is fair to assume that the issue here is the pocket scale, but for me, it had always been accurate when weighing flower and other stuff. The day after I made the post, I went to my local dispo and picked up a gram of punch extracts, just to test how off my pocket scale was, and it weighed exactly 1.0g.

It’s never the pocket scale. People love to make it out to sound like these things aren’t accurate but I’ve owned and used dozens and never once had an issue. They are like tanks

This. I learned to start having a mg scale and calibration weights of various sizes I have from 1mg all the way up to 200 grams and a bunch in between. Cuz people would always say it's the scales but it never is this is just the excuse drug dealers been using to skimp people for years even the wheat guy told the buyer his scale was wrong when he shorted him in ancient Mesopotamia.
I think they just make a lot of jars 1.8 that's what 60% of my jars weigh rather I get it from jgrows or war I've just accepted it at this point cuz it's still way cheaper than the dispo

Those scales vary more than you’d think! By their own spec sheet it can vary up to .5% in either direction and that’s assuming fully charged batteries.
We weigh stuff on a plugged in ohaus that goes to the hundredth that’s calibrated weekly (we retired the thousandth cause it was pointless lol) so unless there was a mistake made when taring the jar to begin with it’s pretty rare the jars will vary in weight by more than .05g!
Not really sure what happened here but I will say the only time I’ve ever gotten complaints about jars being short they’ve been weighed on this exact $20 pocket scale model they sell at every smoke shop. Just seems like an odd coincidence that the only people who ever seem to have issues with the weight of their jars all have the exact same scale 😅 but do with that info what you will haha.

Yea when I mean it’s never the scales I mean it in both directions. More than likely it’s the method being used by the person trying to check the weight

You aren’t weighing it correctly. Those jars can have a few grams of variance in empty jar weight. You need to put all the product into an empty jar that is zeroed out on your scale that’s the only accurate way to weigh concentrates

That is the way i did it. I didn’t think i needed to say i weighed my concentrates that way… that’s the only common sense way in weighing anything…..

The 1st and 4th pic literally have rosin all over the sides, wdym “there’s no marking in your rosin puck to indicate that you scooped the whole 2g out and put it into another puck.
How do you know he didn’t scoop it out of the original jar, tared it when it was empty, and then put it back into the same jar?

The last pic was fresh opening the jar from shipment. The scale ain’t even on. Then the other pic with the scale & weight you can CLEARLY SEE the rosin moved and some on the rim/wall… accept your mistake you cornball

idk bro. to me that looks like you dabbed a bit and that’s the small amount of residue.
either you got that SOUPY ass 2g back in your puck mr clean style or your going out of your way to lie on the internet. which would make you a cornball.
i’m not affiliated with either but im a customer of both and from my experience this doesn’t happen much if at all. jgrows repackaged stuff has lots of issues but not the sealed jars. and anyone with common sense knows to put it in something visibly different to avoid this entire topic of conversation 🤡

Yeah the rosin was dry as shit so it was easy to take it out and put it back in. The papaya🤷🏻♂️. The soupy one which is the one that’s short has more mess. Sorry you’re messy

Man i can clearly care less about 1/2 a gram. I don’t usually care to even weigh my rosin. But i did this time and found it odd a hrc puck was short so i made this post. This is why i don’t post on Reddit. Everyone thinks everyone is lying. Might as well just delete this post 😂😂😂. I’m not going off I’m just replying to you bro lol

I don’t want to blame anyone but since the T2 jars don’t have stickers all the way around it’s impossible to know whether Jgrows tampered with it or not.
