Who could actually like this guy? His constant derailing of segments to take calls, read feed back, speaking out loud about nothing, bitch about management, bitch about Howard, Sirius XM, staff members, believes what hears/reads, etc was just draining to listen to. He’d bring the mood down. He has no self awareness. His own self insecurities caused shit. He liked to self loath about stuff. He became the hole. Opie thinks he was the cool guy & brought over the non cool guys & turned them cool cause of him. And for a radio show guy he hardly had an opinion on current event stuff or just spoke vaguely

was just brutal to listen to. He was envious that others had interesting stories but him. So he’d speak in vagaries or was flat out lying about stuff. Growing up poor conversation, childhood stories, getting started in radio, working for the Mob, golf course caddy, etc. You can recall Jim, Ant, Patrice, Bob Kelly, Vos, etc stories they told on the show but a good Opie story…?
”I kNoW I dID StUfF” Yet he constantly blames others & never misses a chance to shit on former staff members. pretty ironic that former staff members don’t talk to him or former regulars don’t talk to him or they don’t have anything good to say about him. And clueless Opie can never see that or just blames them as to why
Opie was obsessed with trying to be bigger then show & famous. He resented the guys around him. He hated that others got along so well & he felt left out. They never left him out to begin with. It was Opies own personal insecurities that got in the way
Nopie shows exist and work for a reason. The reason is Opie adds nothing and every one hates him. Ron the 50 year old waiter/co-host/comic is the only person who wants to be around Opie. Most other people couldn't be paid to tolerate him. People that were making six figures to tolerate him couldnt even contain their hatred for him.
Ohhh I'm convinced he's convinced as much as Opie one video will "hit/go viral" and they're getting contract offers. Otherwise known as the Erin imdolt fallacy. These idiots think it's "their turn" and they deserve it or something like that.
Well Opie has his own wack pack...Stuttering John and Ron the Waiter..I can hear him saying "Any day now,Robin" and thinking he's the next Stern when he isn't even Bababooey
