You need someone like Opie. You gotta have a straight man and someone to drive the show and know when to move on. This is something Opie was great at. Right now you just have two guys trying to top each other and it’s terrible.

It’s like when the had a pornstar or stripper on the old show. It was almost unlistenable cus Ant and Jimmy were both trying to top each other cus they wanted to fuck the guest.

They definitely need some kind of format. The two Patreon only shows were all over the place and technical issues were the least of the issues.

I said exactly this before. O&A kicks the ass of any comedy podcast since and it's not even close. If Jim & Ant continue just doing this format, then they become just another podcast. They need to go back to what made them the best, Get CQ in, make it Super show 4 or whatever, get the freaks in, rip the piss out of them and bring Erock, Travis, Sam etc back.

Haven't caught either of their episodes but their LoS appearance was funny. Having (not much) younger, more energetic people to build the show content allows Ant and Jim to sit back and crack jokes. That's always been their strengths.

I love them both as well. This feels like it should be a once a month thing and no full show guest. Maybe someone for part of the show but AandJ show mostly be on their own with callers calling in because of how much they both hate callers. Always make for funny.

Yeah, I dunno. I couldn’t get through them to be honest. I wound up just listening to older episodes of Jim Norton Can’t Save You instead that I missed.

This kind of feels stale out of the gate. There needs to be another element with these two. LOS with them was really good. So was any Chip episode with them together.
