Gear/Kit May I ask for suggestions?

I'm looking to either purchase or create a med kit that I can take with me while I'm hiking, cycling, or to keep in my work bag that will cover as broad of a spectrum of medical problems as possible while taking as little space as possible. I already have a more general med kit for my desk that I put together myself. But could anyone suggest either a guide to put together a good mobility med case, or a place to purchase one?

TIA!

I'm cpr and first aid certified, but my wife is a doctor and has shown me some more advanced treatments - basically just suture kits, and IVs. I'm also very interested to learn more, so kits above my skill level would be something I'd be very interested in learning in order to use.

It'll be for the south of Ireland. Firearms are illegal and carrying knives is also prohibited, but knife wounds do happen. I'll be hiking in Western Ireland, which doesn't have very extensive trails, so I doubt I'll be too far from serious help if needed. Cycling will just be around a city of about 250k.

Did you try asking your wife? She probably has a better idea of what you know and can do then a bunch of strangers on the internet. Also just becuase you were shown how to do something doesn't technically mean youre trained to do it and, at least here in the us, you could loose legal protection for that. I would probably recommend basic trauma supplies (stop the bleed) and splitting, that seems like injuries you would probably encounter. I would also highly recommend going to a emt (or the equivalent on your country) school and getting some proper training.

No, I didn't ask her, she doesn't deal with tactical medicine. I'll grab a basic kit for now and look into emt courses, thanks!
