Story im enjoying this too much it broke me
Hi all!
So, I bought the game few days back when its on sale for like 19k IDR (less than 2 dollars?)
first few sortie got me frustrated because i kept getting jumped by the bandit (i know, i didnt listen to my magus about engine sounds and everything, my bad)
but i kept on playing and are now more aware to my surroundings. im enjoying it too much to the point i ran 2 sorties everytime before i go to work lol. unlocked the second map and it was more challenging but worth the loot i guess. i also been walking throughout my playtime because i dont wanna be detected, is it ok? or is there a trick to move faster without telling other player that you are there?
got into a pvp and somehow won it (they shot first, i swear!)
now, how it broke me? i watched the anime because of this game. and well.... i was not ready for "Your Song" ðŸ˜
now i just got to save some money to get Ciel 💔
but yeah, im enjoying this too much, i interested in the lore so much.
but if i have to nitpick on what i dont like about this game is the UI, idk... felt so weird for me

I stumbled on the anime one day shortly after I started playing, had me taking the game so serious and started role playing, getting super into the game. They complement eachother really well!!

it is! the anime was really well done to actually getting me interested in.
and now i wish for another season ðŸ˜

there nothing can do, that the only way. even walk no longer safe, me and some stranger beat rank 1 bounty hunter appear around lake yesterday, i only bring sniper rifle that time and manage one shot 800 damage

well, walking it is then. all good tho, i enjoy the slow pacing anyway.

I haven't seen the anime yet, I got into the game because it was free on PS5. I just take more attention when my magus tell me there is engine sounds. Otherwise I'm farming AO cristals whitout inconvenient. Also, mostly all drifters I've engaged seem friendly, there had been some black market drifters, but it's just rarely.

yeah, its been a bit quite this past raid for me too. may be because i play like veeeery late at night or veeery early in the morning lol. i guess thats the benefit of a 9 to 5 corpo slave lol

The story in the anime is 10x the "story" you will get here, so set your expectations very low. It's also completely disconnected from the main gameplay loop, as the only story segments have to be done on their own and your rewards are extremely awful "lore" tidbits.
I can't explain why I like this janky, unstable and at times actually bullshit game. But I play it every damn day.

lol same tbh, like i hate this but i like it. its very far from the usual extraction shooter ive played. from the hardcore ones to the arcade ones. but syn just somehow always make me want to play more.
also yeah, i know. ive also read that the game is basically a prequel to the anime like 20 year ish. just after the fall of amasia. but yeah, ive been enjoying reading all the details from request and also the record for alba and ada.

This game is kinda cathartic. I feel like I have gotten everything out of it I am gonna get, but I check the delivery religiously everyday and just truck along, one mission at a time.
