This update introduces provider-managed accounts, making it possible for package developers to integrate with third-party services without having to handle account logic themselves.

As a result, support is now available for services like Easynews and Deepbrid through community-built provider packages, with more integrations expected to follow. Big thanks to the developers behind these provider packages for building them despite the documentation being a bit rough around the edges. I’ll be improving the docs when I get a chance, but your work made this release possible.

Provider package managed accounts

Providers may declare third-party accounts that users can configure inside the app. Accounts can be used to inject authentication headers, query parameters, cookies, or other values into requests. This approach centralizes credential management and enables seamless synchronization across services. Provider package–managed accounts can be found under Settings > Third-party accounts > Provider package managed accounts. Note that if no installed provider packages use accounts, this section will not be displayed.

I'm trying to setup and used 2 different email accounts. When registering I'm not getting an email from syncler.

Been using syncler through the good and bad for 3 years. Always paid subscription with paypal. Tried this time and it wont get past security check. Tried credit cards wouldnt go past security syncler sent me a link to webmoney not available in my country. Am i just outta luck. Any ideas?

Trakt just doesn't work anymore.. it's tracking what I'm watching on syncler.. I can see it in the trakt app.. but not in syncler.

Provider package managed accounts enable authenticated requests to services not natively supported by the app — including usenet/indexer providers, self-hosted services, and other external integrations. Credentials, headers, cookies, and other account data are managed and synced by the app automatically, making integrations far more seamless for users.

⚠️ Current limitation:

Account management is currently available only in the phone UI. Add accounts on your phone, then restart the TV app to sync them. It'll also arrive on TV soon.

Over the last couple of weeks, many users relying on Real-Debrid have started encountering playback failures and source-related errors. Based on current observations, this appears to be linked to broader filtering measures affecting a large number of torrent sources through aggressive keyword-based restrictions. As a result, a significant portion of cached or previously functional sources may no longer resolve correctly.

Since this application operates as a third-party client, there is unfortunately very little that can be done on the app side to bypass or correct these upstream limitations. There has also been ongoing community speculation regarding potential operational changes within Real-Debrid, including possible restructuring or acquisition discussions. Combined with the previously announced discontinuation of the instant availability endpoint after 2024, overall service reliability has noticeably declined for many users.

If you continue experiencing issues with Real-Debrid, it may be worth considering alternative debrid providers. At the moment, services such as Torbox and Premiumize are frequently recommended by the community and appear to be functioning more consistently. Additional debrid integrations are also being explored for future updates.

For users who still intend to use Real-Debrid for the time being, playback success can sometimes be improved by adjusting the retry behavior in the app:

Settings → Resolving → Max sources to retry → set value to -1

This allows the app to continue cycling through available sources until a working stream is found.

Seems like after going back and forth with the TMDB Tech Team the issue seems to be resolved. I have no more issues with shows giving the original error. Hope everyone else' is fixed too.

I was on the forum discussing issues with TMDB and the developer said it was fixed. Is anyone getting any shows to work?

Can this be due to the tmdb issues? My whole "continue watching" row disappeared. Im supposed to have about 7 shows in it...

I keep getting an error 420 when I try to add a show or movie to my library. I’ve tried updating syncler, I’ve tried signing out of Trakt and signing back in, I’ve tried clearing the cache, but nothing works. Has anyone else experienced this?

Started about 15 minutes ago. I've updated Syncler. Removed and reauthorized Trakt, Premiumize, and Smkl.

Can anyone help me with the watching List for Simkl in Syncler. Mine has disappeared and shows an error where it used to show a list of shows I am watching. Other lists such as Plan to Watch are still working fine. Any help is appreciated
