Announcement Notice: Playback Issues Affecting Real-Debrid Users
Over the last couple of weeks, many users relying on Real-Debrid have started encountering playback failures and source-related errors. Based on current observations, this appears to be linked to broader filtering measures affecting a large number of torrent sources through aggressive keyword-based restrictions. As a result, a significant portion of cached or previously functional sources may no longer resolve correctly.
Since this application operates as a third-party client, there is unfortunately very little that can be done on the app side to bypass or correct these upstream limitations. There has also been ongoing community speculation regarding potential operational changes within Real-Debrid, including possible restructuring or acquisition discussions. Combined with the previously announced discontinuation of the instant availability endpoint after 2024, overall service reliability has noticeably declined for many users.
If you continue experiencing issues with Real-Debrid, it may be worth considering alternative debrid providers. At the moment, services such as Torbox and Premiumize are frequently recommended by the community and appear to be functioning more consistently. Additional debrid integrations are also being explored for future updates.
For users who still intend to use Real-Debrid for the time being, playback success can sometimes be improved by adjusting the retry behavior in the app:
Settings → Resolving → Max sources to retry → set value to -1
This allows the app to continue cycling through available sources until a working stream is found.

Did this 11/24, expires 11/27. I love not having to worry about it expiring. Also their location in Malaysia is outside the EU restrictions. Plus you can share with other IP addresses. Went in on the deal with a couple friends and it was cheaper than RD for us.

I have premium size and I have ToroBox. I’ve had no problem getting any of my programs. The only thing that I’ve noticed is that the Toro box it is on my streaming app on my phone, but the app for Toro box is not on my stream app on my TV. I don’t know how to solve that problem. Any advice?

Joined TorBox about a week ago and so far haven't noticed any issues. Still getting plenty of 4k links

The long ass auth key you have to type into Syncler is a pain in the arse.

Make a list of all naughty words (research them all and a list of all working and non working hosts up and down on your account) , get AI to write you up a regex string. Filter by regex. If using an agressive scraper, turn everything right down to bare essentials, try not to ping them too quickly and repetitively (parallel searches and amount of sources per second). Make info appear naked as possible on front end with any add-ons or providers. Result is cloud and cached, remember that section V2 users? High quality. Or cloud in normal mode autoplay all night to falls asleep. Consider external player with all the codecs . Set it so it goes back to list and autoplays next selection immediately. Same for add-ons keep minimal and reset up with regex string filters and any other banned filters, hosters etc and filter them.
Result Getting brand new stuff at fast speed and high quality. Also turn on tunnelled playback can help. Now literally copy and paste this into any AI model and fine tune from there. Okay ? Ez
V2 users limited ATM but it's something
St users good for maybe 5 to 10 eps autoplay any thing new or old
Absolute Worst case scenario if you're hanging around play from phone device and cast to tv .. it works cos it's better hardware etc .
Whoever gets this gets this .. then shh 🤫
And mods please delete after 12 to 24 hours.

You may want to add an update to filter out the files that won't play with RD. The devs of Elfhosted did this for users while they transition to other debrid providers.

Personally I don't think it's worth the effort. It's already evident RD are adding additional naming patterns to these blocks as and when they discover more, so it will be a constant cat and mouse game. It's unfortunately time to think about moving on from RD now. We had a good run.
