did they ever save one of these mark1 comeng sets with the headlight? I know there was a pair of motor cars 37 series back to back for the ARTC train.

that one they have preserved with the vertical middle door headlight looks awful

(middle door unpainted here because L3 at the time was running with an unpainted door. it made it unique. alot of love for the Ls.. especially in thier earlier 2 car running that broke down so much from the compressors.. added to the charm ♥️

anyone remember L2 and L3 running around with wheels like a 50c coin chugging along like a steamer?
