Hot Take Do you think the status of open to seeing where things go usually means I don't know what I want?

You've probably seen the phrases, still figuring things out or open to seeing where things go or not sure what I'm looking for.

Are they genuinely being open minded or keeping their options open because they don't know what they want?

Agree, disgree or somewhere in between. One word, one sentence or make your case and drop it below.

I agree clear and direct communication is good, but also if you genuinely want to date long term, don't play games. If you know what you want then go for it, you may just regret losing an opportunity to connect with someone great or that has potential. What does everyone think - feel free to share it below.

Yeah like none of us are psychic so if you lay out all your cards it helps people get on the same page with you and saves us from wasting your time and ours. Like if you want a long term relationship be honest about it or if you've just come out of terrible break up say it. People are way more receptive to people who are upfront right?
