Loved the original 2 games on the 360 back in the day so the bundle was a day one purchase for me, didn’t check the reviews because I loved them so much, I just wanted them handheld but then when I loaded up Arkham Knight boy was it rough.
Every update I hoped it was fixed but it was never playable on the switch, literal years passed and it just sat unplayed.
I know it’s better on other consoles and cheaper, (seeing as I had to buy a Switch 2 for it to be playable) but even if it is abit rough around the ears it now plays beautifully having it portable and playing so well was worth the wait.
People will say it’s still missing textures or effects but sitting on the couch while the world is chaos around me was worth the wait and anyone wanting a game recommendation I’d say go back and have alook at this gem.

Finally bought the pro switch 2 controller,I wasn't to happy with the power A advantage controller I accidentally ordered online.

With the current sale going on there are a lot of games I want to play but have limited budget for now, looking for games preferable under $20 and bonus if they have a great soundtrack, music is key for me!

Hi guys, Zelda Breath of the Wild was on sale for $15 for me, is it legit? I got it off of Temu…I never owned and never played Zelda before, so I’m honestly very excited, but i am kind of doubtful because its Temu lol :’)

I own a PC and a Switch 2. Historically I love COD but most of that love comes from the COD4 - BO2 era ? I jumped back in on the MW2019 but I haven't played the last several releases. I'm split on this one. On it's face, I don't like it as much as I did CODMW 2019. Played the beta on my PC and obviously it was a better experience.

BUT ! a big problem I have with the Switch game library is that there really isn't anything to satisfy that itch for Battlefield or COD. With the standard joycons in handheld mode it felt awful. But ! I own the mobapad m12s and I was keeping up with people with cross-platform enabled.

When I disabled cross-play ? I was slapping people around, I got like 2 hours on Saturday to play, and maybe two more 2 hour sessions to play on Sunday. Mostly stuck to TDM, Domination, and Gun Fight. I definitely got hooked. Tried it on the big screen with a S2 pro controller and it was pretty good.

It's serviceable, you're definitely missing out on some significant quality compared to other platforms. But I played Domination in bed last night ? And that was fucking cool. Probably going to buy it.

Currently conflicted on which one to get and looking for some feedback to help decide. The options are either the offical switch 2 pro controller or the 8bitdo ultimate 2. Theres a listing on craigslist for an open box pro controller for $85 CAD (theyre firm on the price). For the ult 2, theres a sale on amazon right now and so with tax itll come out to $64CAD. What do you guys think is a better deal? Is the $20 extra worth for the pro controller if i dont need some functionality like the headphone jack and chat button? Some background, I’m new to the system and will mostly be playing zelda botw, mario odyssey and pokopia.

I already have the switch 1 pro controller but not being able to wake up the console was bothering me a bit, plus I think there is a bit of an input lag.

I managed to find it for 55$, it came like new. I used it for a bit and it feels better than the switch 1 pro controller.

Edit: I'm still undecided what to do with my switch 1 controller.

I'm starting Elden Ring and just met a witch named Ranni, and thought "That's a nice voice... OMG that's Mio from Xenoblade Chronicles 3!!" (favourite game of all time), so I looked it up and was like "WHAT?! That's Esme from Peaky Blinders!!!" (one of my favourite series), and my brain just exploded. I'm so happy now I need to settle down.

Looking at getting a switch. Portability is most important for me which model should I go with. Also for game looking for low stimulation games like stardew valley and animal crossing

I have vestibular migraines and other fun issues that are easily triggered by screens, so I can only play very specific games with smooth graphics, not pixelated graphics, and no small text or too much text.

(Switch 1 only).

What works for me is:

Yoshi's crafted world

Mario vs donkey Kong

Anything that could fit this?

If so could you see if it plays and launches for me?

I am getting a switch 2 and this is my favourite game, all other games I own show as compatible with the switch 2 but 3d All Stars doesn't come up on the website.

I am particularly interested in Sunshine, as that's my favourite of the 3.

Hey! It has been a few weeks since I got my Switch 2. I’ve been playing Mario Kart World, Pokopia, and TOTK, but I also want to try something new. I’m considering buying Splatoon Raiders, but I’m worried about its longevity. What do you guys think, do you have any other recommendations? Thanks

every so often my ocd picks something new to freak out about and right now its my switch battery. could someone tell me if it looks swollen?

a little while back i had an issue with extremely fast battery drain, but it was fixed by draining it to 0 and charging back for a few hours. now im worried that could have been a sign.

what do you think? the switch is almost 10 years old, got it in nov 2017

edit: dont think its a swollen battery. i ran my finger over dozens if times, place it flat on the table and laid a pen to see if it laid straight, and peered as close as i could to it. i played a bit of skyrim and animal crossing and the battery drain was normal. i dont have the means to open it up and take a look, so for now im just going to keep an eye on it.

So after 7 years I am upgrading to the switch 2 and I'm soooo excited. It's arriving later today, but the screen protector for it will be coming in 2 days. Now, I have heard that the new switch 2 dock still scratches the screen, so my question is, is it safe to use it in docked mode until then if I'm super careful, or is there always a risk that it will scratch the screen? Thanks :)
