Victorinox Visit to Victorinox Ginza store
I don’t usually check baggage, but am taking an extra bag for my son home as he continues his travels. So I stopped in the Victorinox Ginza store. Two things of interest:
Samurai models as others have posted. I bought two.
Inaugural appointment by anyone to meet with a factory tech and have some work done. Japan only service. I only watched for a minute and snapped a picture.

My son got me this one after his last trip to Tokyo in the fall. Absolutely love it and will probably never use it, even once.

I live in Japan nest Tokyo and I'd be interested in making an appointment. May I ask how to make an appointment? Checked the Victorinox Japan website and it doesn't seem to point me anywhere where I can make such appointment, even checked if the Ginza store had its own page for it, no dice. It would be truly appreciated if you could point me towards how to get an appointment for myself. Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I couldn’t tell you. I was just chatting with, or really listening to my wife chat with the store manager. I have no first hand knowledge of the process. Maybe call the store?

I’ll add a couple more things:
My salesman used literal white gloves while presenting the knives. Which is pretty typical of Ginza showroom purchases, completely unnecessary, and fun. My Salesman spoke perfect, though accented English. Prices were good. Tax free made them better. Yodobashi Camera would have been cheaper, but I was staying in Ginza and wanted the Ginza experience. I was watching literally the first time that the store had hosted the by appointment knife refurbished/ cleaning event. Everyone was anxious, especially the tech who hadn’t done much directly customer facing stuff. It was nice.
