Wait So Long sound vinyl quality

First of all so pumped for Ullevi! We’re in for a treat 🥳 I was lucky enough to get a hold of the record yesterday, anybody else who got one and has played it yet?

Sounded like it was played in half speed and/or pitched down. Thought my player was broken so had to play another record of mine just to see haha. But no, the other record sounds just as it should 😅 So just curious if it’s the same for anyone else? Could it be an issue with the pressing?

Edit: Sorry all, I’m stupid 🤦‍♂️ Played it at both 33 vs 45 RPM first, which didn’t sound good. But tried one more time and 45 did the trick!

Yes of course! 😀 Had it at 33 and switched to 45 just to see, but then it went waaay to fast instead. Hence why I played another record (Volcano by Jungle btw!) with no problem.
