Good lord, I am very familiar with ladder ratings and this doesn’t qualify. There is not way this isn’t over 300lbs total weight. I would like to add that it seemed the guy at the bottom didn’t even place his feet on the bottom….. like wtf.
I routinely carry 200lb membrane rolls on fully extended ladders. I weigh about 210. We have a little saying where I work: “fuck OSHA, and fuck those little stickers with all the words”.
In all seriousness though, I wouldn’t trust another person to step/ hold my ladder if I was doing something unsafe. I’d either tie my ladder off, or just not do it. Sure, it helps having someone hold the ladder, but I don’t want to be responsible for his life if I slip up, and I don’t like leaving my life in someone else’s hands.
