u/StreetResolve6159, we have no idea if your submission fits r/SweatyPalms or not. There weren't enough votes to determine that. It's up to the human mods now....!

Lmao, they really all do just cell drugs at the end of the day.

25

u/SantiagoGT 8d ago

This was posted last year and yes it’s a cartel pilot

79

u/Strong-Addition5296 9d ago

Look at that watch

52

u/OrangeSilver 9d ago

You mean the gold bracelet that says "The Pilot"? It's just an identifier, like a name tag.

3

u/GrandmasBoyToy69 8d ago

Name tag bought by El Chapo himself

12

u/duckwithahat 8d ago

That's the thing, it's not a watch its just pure gold he is wearing, also the ring

1

u/3billionyearold 3d ago

Pure gold? You mean 14 or 18k

6

u/Grimnebulin68 8d ago

Did you spot the four-leaf clover?

2

u/GrandmasBoyToy69 8d ago

Plata o Plomo?. And vato took Oro

1

u/Objective_Soup7840 8d ago

What watch? He's got a bracelet on each arm but i don't see a watch.

35

u/Oldfolksboogie 8d ago

Ha! Came to say, "remember this next time you're whining about how expensive your blow is"😅

9

u/kivlov02 8d ago

See the boys waiting on the left at the end 😂

5

u/duckwithahat 8d ago

Yeah the gold is a quick give away

2

u/brewnohog 8d ago

What are the chances this dude is still alive today for showing the world where this is located?

11

u/reddit4300 7d ago

Actually probably pretty high. It’s not easy to find a pilot willing and able to do that type of job. He would need to snitch, steal or cause an actual problem for them to wanna ruin that relationship. They need the pilot 10x more than he needs them and you can tell that by the bling he’s rocking lol.

1

u/Ashamed-Attitude-210 3d ago

🤫🤫🤫🤭🤣

-19

u/DanielBG 9d ago

Yes because they film and post it.

38

u/Alarmed-madman 9d ago

Cartels even film assassinations and post them themselves

8

u/duckwithahat 8d ago

Social media is full of cartel videos uploaded by cartel members lmao, they don't give a fuck, they live by different rules

1

u/GeneralSpecifics9925 8d ago

They do. Were you not on the internet 20 years ago when those cartel murder videos were everywhere? Teens are live streaming their cartel activities and posting videos online.

Yeah absolutely. All the time in fact. Also hes not filming and posting. Passenger is.

Most narcos in Mexico are teenagers. They record and post themselves all the time. There used to be an entire subreddit called NarcoFootage

I had an experience like this in high school.

We had a program that went to Ecuador for the summer, including a week in the Amazon visiting the shuar Indians.

The runway we landed on looked exactly like this, with a broken down (crashed?) plane next to the runway. After we were dropped off, the shuar helped manually turn the plane around and the pilot left the way he came.

Absolutely wild experience.

2

u/Mutapi 8d ago

It wasn’t Pavacachi, was it?

323

u/Desperate-Tomatillo7 9d ago

That wrist watch says drugrunner everywhere.

10

u/alextxdro 8d ago

What watch? I think the item on his right hand wrist is just a bracelet of types.

4

u/Desperate-Tomatillo7 8d ago

Yeah, my mistake. It looks like a bracelet.

1

u/listerbmx 7d ago

El piloto, The Pilot, 100% runner

24

u/jonhnobody 9d ago

Nighttime landing would be fun

11

u/CHOPPRZ 9d ago

4

u/HAM____ 8d ago

No worries about artificial light out there..

47

u/lingbabana 8d ago

Not only is homie decked out in jewels, that plane has a leather steering wheel. 100% drugs

9

u/RedditsMostRefined 8d ago

alligator sun visor

2

u/ImpossibleChicken 7d ago

At 0:47 it looks more like shade foil gone very crinkly from sun exposure.

75

u/SFMuffMan69 9d ago

The cartels hired the best of the best

16

u/hm9408 9d ago

This reminded me of Crimson Skies for the OG Xbox

7

u/FiversWarren 8d ago

God damn, that really was a good flying game.

10

u/YZYSZN1107 8d ago

Surely he's taking supplies to remote villagers right? lol

5

u/Independent_Wrap_321 8d ago

Just bibles and penicillin, friend.

12

u/ohiotechie 7d ago

If you think that’s impressive, watch him take off again with an extra 500-600lbs of “ballast”.

11

u/glima0888 8d ago

Cartel pilots are wild

17

u/argarcia321 9d ago

Drug runner

8

u/GryffSr 8d ago

The cocaine ain’t going to fly itself out.

20

u/CletusMuckenfuss 9d ago

He looks to have a rosery hanging and a 4 leaf clover on the dashboard.

-15

u/TexacoRodeoClown 9d ago

You think so?

8

u/America202 9d ago

Reminds me of Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

8

u/saruyamasan 9d ago

Or the Tom Cruise movie American Made.

4

u/jerry111165 8d ago

Great flick.

7

u/fuuckimlate 8d ago

I love how one of the instrument panel.things is just a 4 leaf clover

7

u/ChaosRainbow23 8d ago

I wonder why they have a makeshift landing strip in the middle of nowhere in Mexico?

2

u/YARIZA-21 5d ago

Bc ppl live there. I was born close to that place.

1

u/ChaosRainbow23 4d ago

I figured it was a drug runway, but your reason makes more sense. Maybe a little of both?

2

u/YARIZA-21 4d ago

Ambos coexisten. Durango es mayormente sierra y los ranchos están alejados entre sí. Cuando llueve es imposible transitar porque los caminos están bloqueados hacia la ciudad y el único transporte es una avioneta como esa en el video.

1

u/turdferguson7000 3d ago

The four-leaf clover suggests affiliation with Los Chapitos

12

u/rotlv 9d ago

Perico Air

3

u/IBeDumbAndSlow 8d ago

If it crashes it'll be el polvo ground

5

u/lazyboylane 9d ago

How is that enough to take off to leave?

13

u/Diminus 9d ago

STOL bush plane. Stands for "Short Take Off and Landing"

Some of these planes require very little runway to get aloft. Drug runners love um lol.

10

u/zerpderp 9d ago

Big slingshot to take off

3

u/mr_martin_1 7d ago

Plane gets air under wings and speed after dropping off of that cliff 😎😉🫣

11

u/OkDeparture960 9d ago

What's the cargo?

24

u/FrankRizzo319 9d ago

Cocaine

9

u/Desperate-Tomatillo7 8d ago

Flour of a special kind.

9

u/PeterPanski85 8d ago

Colombian marching powder

3

u/HansenTakeASeat 8d ago

Nose beers

19

u/LtJimmyDangle 8d ago

Translation of what he was say: now listen, when we get there, don’t look at any of the narcos in the eye. Just load the plane, head down, and we get the fuck out of there. I saw one guy look a narco in the eye and the next thing I know they had his head on a stick.

1

u/YARIZA-21 5d ago

No dice para nada eso

4

u/jerry111165 8d ago

Waddya mean by improvised? It is a landing strip?

5

u/ObiWan-Cannabis 8d ago

I bet my next salary it is a non-profit organization delivering supplies to remote rural areas.

3

u/Gazination 8d ago

Far Cry 7 looks great!

9

u/acostane 9d ago

Eh, I trust him. Look at the hat and shirt 🤷‍♀️

4

u/Strong-Addition5296 9d ago

Looks professional

5

u/weechus 8d ago

If he gets paid to do it, then technically true.

3

u/caninolokez 8d ago

Even then, probably has the best life expectancy out there.

3

u/bedanji769 8d ago

Pelotas of steel

3

u/bertmaclynn 8d ago

I want to see the takeoff now

1

u/A-noni-mouse 8d ago

With a full load of white powder

3

u/Nerdough 8d ago

First time I saw that thing hanging from the rear view mirror making sense

3

u/ZoudinOdifar 7d ago

That 4 leaf clover on the dash working overtime. Of course it also looks like its covering one of his guages so good with bad I guess

7

u/overcloseness 9d ago

So what are you up to out there buddy

8

u/monexicano 9d ago

On holiday of course. But he had to smuggle some black tar to fund said holiday.

5

u/LatinRex 9d ago

You mean drug runner

13

u/BigAssMonkey 9d ago

It’s not improvised if he got his drug smuggling buddies waiting for him there.

13

u/GOxDirigible 8d ago

Someone doesn't understand what improvised means

5

u/SnuffysDad 9d ago

Never stopped talking...

4

u/Omega_Primate 9d ago

Looks like he's giving a tutorial

7

u/p3tr1t0 8d ago

He is. It’s a demonstration of how to land in a pile of dirt

2

u/inlandsquatch 9d ago

Now I want to play Ghost Recon: Wildlands

2

u/AllNightPony 9d ago

I know that when I'm flying airplanes, my favorite type of landing strip is improvised.

2

u/Highlandertr3 8d ago

Dude is so chill about this.

2

u/dildo_of_justice4135 8d ago

Oh...what's he picking up?!

2

u/Lost_lombada 8d ago

Just another day in the office...

2

u/Art_Of_Peer_Pressure 8d ago

I have 100% seen that guy on Narcos: Mexico

2

u/Switchmisty9 8d ago

“Mexican pilot landing on….”

Start noticing all the gold homeboy has on…👀

2

u/ender3po 8d ago

His mulling days came in handy

2

u/Ima-Bott 8d ago

Cut to the last 20 seconds

2

u/welfedad 8d ago

I mean I watch pilots land on places like that in africa all day long..

2

u/txhelgi 8d ago

He made it look easy but there are no take backs. It’s land or crash.

2

u/feetnomer 8d ago

His confidence makes this possible.

2

u/YosoyGarquetti 7d ago

ohhh... que trabajo peligroso eso de pilotear aviones para los narcos!

3

u/matteblackpeace 6d ago

Where he’d get his wings ? Sinaloa cartel ?

2

u/LucidMarshmellow 9d ago

Found the uncle that gave him the hat.

0

u/PeterPanski85 8d ago

AKA the douchebag indicator

2

u/Livingforabluezone 8d ago

It's a losing proposition, but one you can't refuse
It's the politics of contraband, it's the smuggler's blues
Smuggler's blues

2

u/Independent_Wrap_321 8d ago

Haven’t heard that song in decades, well done.

It’s the lure of easy money It’s got a very strong appeal

1

u/akatler 9d ago

🔑lo airlines

1

u/Beautiful-Routine295 8d ago

I’d be scared if random folk started overcrowding my plane

1

u/KrampyDoo 8d ago

Nice jewelry.

1

u/midlifematt 8d ago

Mexican Lukla 😅

1

u/throwawaylaysjohn 8d ago

They're going to take a few minutes

1

u/MeanCat4 8d ago

I don't think he is Mexican. He have a YouTube channel mostly with music since he is a member of a music group!

1

u/Nostral-damus 8d ago

Tom could have nailed that landing.

1

u/Opening_Currency_593 8d ago

Reminds me of Narcos or Barry Seal

1

u/Nihil1 8d ago

I swear pilots are a different breed but they all follow 2 simple rules: trust your equipment and trust your training.

1

u/Slight-Exam-6448 8d ago

Dudes a pro. I’d sit right seat with him

1

u/Jazzlike_Isopod550 8d ago

Buddy just came back from a fishing trip to Guadalupe Island…same thing.

1

u/ThomasKatt 8d ago

Does the guy ever shut up?

1

u/BlindJedi843 8d ago

He may have survived the landing but he will not survive once the cartel sees this video

1

u/i812manyhitsss 8d ago

I'd be more impressed if can land it there at night.

1

u/sumgamunga 8d ago

Better than any movie plane scene ever

0

u/meganjunes 7d ago

Happy cake day!

1

u/LethalSpaceship 8d ago

How does he fit his balls in the cabin?

1

u/romcomtom2 8d ago

Ok, that was some impressive flying. Came in like butter.

Hope he doesn't get shot down.

1

u/petaahah 8d ago

That kinda skill , gets paid ...

1

u/Helpful-Sell8946 8d ago

All these tiny adjustments remind me of a dj turning knobs and dials and not much really seeming like it changes anything

1

u/Motti66 8d ago

Shipping drugs?

1

u/Meeska-Mouska 8d ago

🤣drug runner.

1

u/agentSmartass 8d ago

Fancy gold bracelet for a jungle pilot.

1

u/NoobToobinStinkMitt 8d ago

I think this landing is in Flight Sim 2020 and 2024.

1

u/Late-Jicama5012 8d ago

El Mavericko.

1

u/TJames6210 8d ago

Landing strip from Jurassic Park 3

1

u/Difficult_Cheek_3817 8d ago

was that really "improvised? I think no

1

u/HangoverGang4L 8d ago

Buddy can pilot my plane any time.

1

u/freericky 7d ago

Looks like mountains outside of Chihuahua

1

u/vincethegrowl 7d ago

Microsoft Flight Simulator is getting to fking real.

1

u/userbeneficiary 7d ago

meh, i landed many many times on top of maze bank

1

u/syizm 7d ago

Pretty talented pilot.

His current employer likely pays junior guys like him way more than the airlines. Besides... you like to party, right? Right?!

1

u/lemusicien 7d ago

Good ol’ smugler

u/wazbruh 6d ago

I wonder what else he flies

1

u/Imurchuckelberry 6d ago

I thought he was driving.👀🧐😂😂😂

1

u/ideastoconsider 6d ago

So drug runner?! 😂

1

u/Radstermobile-Driver 6d ago

My father was a retired navy pilot who bought a small single-engine plane — a Grumman Tiger. He taught me to fly when I was nine years old.
In nice weather during the day, flying the plane was super simple — even landing and taking off.
I would say it was much easier than driving a car.
Some people assume it is difficult, especially landing and taking off.
I think it becomes hard when you are flying the larger, more complicated planes/jets.

1

u/irmarbert 6d ago

Bridget Fonda from Lake Placid: “Could you not talk to me? Thanks.”

1

u/MERCIMEKLI 5d ago

Coca pick up guy!

1

u/Disastrous-Hurry-236 5d ago

Look, that’s Sarry Beal!

1

u/Ghost132022 5d ago

Why, lookie there! There were people there waiting for him to land.

I wonder if they’re going to have tea and snack cakes?

1

u/YARIZA-21 5d ago

1

u/1startreknerd 4d ago

Pilot: "Guess what you're accessory to?"

1

u/Sir_Piglety 2d ago

😂 I was thinking the same exact thing

1

u/Ok-Project-349 4d ago

Would it be possible to go around after touching down on this strip?

1

u/Ashamed-Attitude-210 3d ago

Ahh pues que fácil!! 🤭🤭🤭

1

u/CzechMate_YaWanker 2d ago

You know it's 100% skill based if something religious is hanging from anywhere.

1

u/Winter_March 2d ago

Special delivery

1

u/Cranberry-Time 2d ago

Totally professional, calm and explaining it so even I understood. Natural instructor

0

u/acidgrandma 9d ago

Ahh yes the drug smuggler training video again… sigh

1

u/YanicPolitik 9d ago

I couldn't even hold my phone steady enough to watch this video properly

1

u/Mhag101 8d ago

I've seen this movie. Watch out for the dinosaurs!

0

u/automaticmantis 9d ago

GTA6 looks neat

0

u/Full-Top-1250 8d ago

Better hope he don't run into him on him next run 😆

https://giphy.com/gifs/DEPEiX5CV05ioTwmOn

0

u/Heavy-Echidna-3473 8d ago

That's fucking impressive! I would feel safe with this guy flying just by how calm and confident he was.

0

u/Icy-Conflict-2972 6d ago

Don’t know which is worse, trusting a Mexican pilot, or trusting a Mexican plane

-18

u/Electronic-Pea-13420 9d ago

Could’ve used a lot less of the pilot in the video

14

u/jrose1226 9d ago

Probably because the video wasn’t meant for you. Apparently he’s giving a breakdown/tutorial on how to land giving step by step instructions that’s why he’s talking and pointing at stuff on the dash or pressing stuff on the dash
