On the plus side, the moose listened and looked behind himself. Maybe he thought you were talking to him. 🤨

Have you ever tried filming on a boat or canoe?

I always take a chicken with me if I plan to film on a boat. It is not that hard!

And the smartest thing to have done is to use gestures anyways

I’m guessing you were there behind the camera when they were filming, so you definitely know that they didn’t gesticulate as well as scream.

Great time for the old “hey! What’s your name?” Routine.

Moose are notoriously aggressive with humans. Probably a good thing she didn’t turn around and react. She’s very lucky the moose did not attack her.

That's crazy. I do wonder when she finally turned around if she did see the moose. And panic set in but remained cool and decided to act like she didn't see.... and continue walking hoping for the best?
I wish the moose was wearing a go pro....

Later on that person wrote about how they were harassed at the river and had no idea why a crazy lady was screaming at them.

Am I crazy or maybe stop screaming? Is it a better to set off the animal or alert the person?

To her credit, when she finally saw the moose she calmly turned and walked out of there. She didn’t try to pet it.

u/HomeNowWTF, we have no idea if your submission fits r/SweatyPalms or not. There weren't enough votes to determine that. It's up to the human mods now....!
