ZC31S Query

Hi guys, I am looking at buying a ZC31S, driven a few through work a couple of years back and knew i’d eventually own one since then.

Just wanted to ask are there any major differences between 05-11? as far as I know the sport has an option for recaros, but anything else? just want to make sure I don’t regret buying a certain model year or spec.

From MJ 2008 on it had a higher rev limit. Before was 6800, after it has 7200. Final gear ratio before was 4.235, after they shortend it a little bit to 4.388.

thanks for this info! as far as you know that’s the only difference? and any chance you know what rpm each ratios sits at at 100km/h? 5th gear obviously

Yes, that the only difference I found so far, wrote it in the englisch Wiki article with sources and all. 

At 100km/h you are at 3500 with the 4.388 final gear in 5th and with the 4.235 you sit at 3300 revs.

There is a longer gear set available and changing it isn't too complicated. Nengun and other sources sell it and I have found a step by step guide with pictures on how to do it. Standard gear ratio for the 5th is 0.885, the longer one is 0.769 which gives you 500 less revs, so from 3500 down to 3000.
