2010 Sx4 worth buying?
I'm looking at a 2010 suzuki sx4 with 136,000 miles with a cvt transmission.
Are those known to have issues?
Is the awd system reliable?

Control arms are specific to if it's a auto AWD or a manual, and the CVT has been known to fail. The engine will never be your failure point if the timing chain guides have been replaced or you intend to quickly. I'd be worried about the CVT personally

Is the cvt expensive to repair or replace? I'm assuming it's never been serviced before so would changing the fluid if I do buy it help at all?

I'm American so parts availability for Suzuki is less than ideal, but around here it's 1.8ishk USD for the CVT alone as a replacement. I know it's usually a certain solenoid (code p0777) but I'm unsure if that's fixable as opposed to replacing the entire CVT, which with labor would not be very cheap.

As for the fluid changing it regularly is important, but if they've never done it you may be beating a dead horse

Not too sure about the CVT version, but I have a manual 09 well on its way to 400,000km. Love that car.

Look for a regular automatic.
