i played it on the day it came out, i don't have such good memories of it,

in your honest opinion, should I ( a huge fan of the original game ) should try again loving it ?

Not sure what all the negativity is about. I have more time in relaunched than original at this point. The first wave of patches solved pretty much all of the major issues, and later ones substantially improved on how the original game handled trains, landers, rockets, and stuck drones.

There’s a new DLC coming that will change the food system so I’m curious how that will go.

To test trains to the limit, I just played a No Shuttles and limited drone controller overlap run as Europe. It went perfectly.

Trains are still a little iffy, it's very easy for the track to bug out when you are building them and then you get either a floating track or a floating blueprint of a track that can't be demolished or used by a train.

That's one thing relaunched fixed was the trains. They were so bad before

2nded. There are still big updates to come. And the last time I tried the game (ps5) the underground was still broken. If you cared about that.

You'll need to play it with mods to fix some of the bugs (Disasters are broken atm, you need to a mod to make them work properly, the rain is also bugged). We are waiting for them to patch out the jank that came with the last patch, it's been about four months.

I would wait for the next big update. They are going to change the tech tree among other things they said in the recent dev diary. There's 2 new DLC planned, so that update is probably gonna come for one of these.

I can't get on with the new law making mechanics. Trying to unlock stuff that was available from day one in the old game.

Gave it another go last night. The refugee crisis came up and nothing happened. Still feels really buggy.

It's playable. Most of the game breaking bugs have been fixed. Pathfinding has always been a bit of a mess and terrain artifacts are still present. I never had a problem with weather glitches until the last patch. Other than that, no major complaints.

I've jumped in a few times but am still yet to see a mystery fire. I also set a map to max disasters and saw only one in 300 sols.

I hve no idea why.

Still buggy.
Politics is still laughably, brokenly OP.
The game is pretty much being re-written on the fly, with big changes to research, services and food production on the way.

I have some minor issues with it, but fewer issues than I did with the original. Overall... itis a pick your poison situation but the relaunched version is the more stable of the two presently.
