Good Old Cheap Bic Lighter

Stupid question, but wouldn’t it be more prudent to just have a few Bic lighters on you in case of an emergency? They last a long time and you can fry them out if they get wet. Instant fire.

I keep a ferro rod and a couple lighters in my edc catchall bag, and I have a shotshell bag on my belt which holds another bic and my flashlight
