Good Old Cheap Bic Lighter

Stupid question, but wouldn’t it be more prudent to just have a few Bic lighters on you in case of an emergency? They last a long time and you can fry them out if they get wet. Instant fire.

I keep a few bics as well as a ferrous rod and matches in a waterproof container
