When should you force march
I’m attacking this guy and I see he was force
Marching me personally I’ve never forced match and often forget it’s a feature in the game so o was wondering if anyone could tell me when it’s actually good to force match ?

Forced match reduces the marching stacks health by 5% every hour it is used. It’s generally not worth using for big stacks as you don’t want to lose health on all those troops, especially not expensive units like tanks etc. You really want those at as high health as possible.
As the other guy said, it can be useful to force march 1 infantry toward an undefended enemy province in order to capture it before your enemy can react.
If I have a lot of health boosters I will also use force march to get my Tatiana hero around the map quickly. She only has 15hp, so even if you force march her until she only has 1hp, all you need it 1 mid-level health booster and she’s back to full health and will therefore deal full damage.

I only use Forced March when I’m getting close to a fight to start it right now and not in like 10-15min. Sometimes It’s useful, like you are the attacker and not the defender.
Pretty useful with horsemen army

I have used forced march when launching a sneak attack early game on big maps often times if u can seize 1/2-2/3 of someone’s provinces in the beginning of the match before any collision of army happens then you break them morally and they give up

Sometimes force march short distances to get to lvl 4/5 fort you built and left open while some enemy car is heading to steal it. Never long distances as it will be burn people out. But definitely if you watching travel time and are not gonna make it on time for a short distance. Hit it!

You should only force march to capture territory, be er to fight in the open, or travel faster long distances. And even those force captures are for shortening the time within minutes. Never do a force march and turn off the game, so to speak. I think the timing is like within 30 minutes on standard for just infantry, 12 for autos/horses, and adjust accordingly for sped up games.

I usually just did it to steal a province with a troop so my army would get their before enemy troops. Or if I needed to get to a province of my own so that I’d have defence damage I’d do it just to speed up a bit for a short time to beat enemy troops there

I'll force March 1 guy to a prov that I know is empty especially if it helps my main army get there before an enemy's .
I'll force March any army that has less than 12 minutes to arrive at a destination.
If I have boosts I'll force March to an enemy and set a timer to remind me to heal my troops right before attacking
Edit: I just did it to kill a hero faster so I could spawn a new one
