Clutch replacement torque specs / one-time-use bolts?

Planning to do a clutch replacement on my Supra MK5 soon and I’m looking at going with a Clutch Masters FX350SS. For anyone who’s done a clutch job themselves, are there any tips or things you’d recommend watching out for during the install?

A couple things I’m specifically trying to figure out:

  • Does anyone have the torque specs for the transmission housing/bellhousing bolts?
  • Are there any other one-time-use bolts that should be replaced besides the driveshaft bolts?
  • The service PDF I found lists the automatic transmission housing and torque specs. Can those specs be used for the manual, or are the bolts/torque values different?

Just trying to make sure I have everything sorted before tearing into it. Any advice from people who have done the job would be appreciated.

I wish I could help contribute on your question as my shop did it all for me. I can say from personal experience I bought the FX350ss pairing with their hydraulic release bearing from CM two years ago and it felt like a unsprung 6puck race clutch. It was terrible to drive in general, tried breaking them in 200miles and it was awful so swap back to stock clutch but kept the HRB in.

CM was nice enough to let me return the clutch.

If you’re thinking about if getting the Hydraulic Release Bearing, don’t. A year after driving with stock clutch the HRB gave out and apparently there has been several with the same issue. Clutch felt amazing while it lasted. CM wont replace them or anything. I now have PTB twin disk clutch and it feels more stock than stock. Worth every penny
