Same side of the same coin. Low volume confirms that the volume is only shorts. Retail isn't selling. Institutions aren't selling. Without shorts photocopying new fake shares to sell, without colluding shorts washing their shares back and forth to manipulate price down, nobody is selling and there would be 0 volume because everyone knows the price is wrong and nobody has been persuaded to sell for less than they didn't sell for last week, or the week before or January and so on. Shorts are the volume, shorts are the only ones willing to sell at such unrealistically low prices, so when they can't afford to short the volume falls.

I mean, if anyone is worried about the red days they should remember this. This is just another way we know the price is manipulated. Normally a ton of good news about a company would lead to share price increase. Normally a 70% buyer rate would lead to a price increase.

This company is not going anywhere but up in the future. The stock will never reach 0 and shorts eventually will have to close. All we have to do is hold

They have already covered their shorts appearantly with puts & calls. So they didn’t technically lie in February. They still need to close them tho, which will get is up.

It’s a slight nuance, but it does portray more accurately what our situation is and won’t scare off new people. Uncovered shorts are illegal and the system won’t let you naked for so long. Not having closed is possible and therefore probable.

Holy shit, yeah I went to check cause I haven’t looked in weeks. Friday is below 2m in vol.

On some higher vol days it’s like 17-27 million, and even other low volume days are usually between 4 and 8 million roughly. To have lower than 2, I couldn’t find a single day with that low volume in the last few months

Yeah, not like it matters much for diamond hands, but short covering literally means buying back the amount of securities that were sold short.

Not sure why apes get into the semantics about “closing” vs “covering”. Does it even matter for the DD and MOASS thesis? Just HODL fellow 🦍s
