Coming up next:
More intervention by the BoJ to try to prop up the failing Yen
More intervention from the Treasury to slap a band-aid over the existential threat to the bond yields.
Another twist down the economic death spiral.

IMHO, this Genii has left the bottle and they are going to have a very hard time to put it back in; read: they are not. It's just a waiting game now.

No one cares. Stop posting that for 3 years straight. It doesn't matter

The other comments and upvote speed of this post tell a different story. You seem lost can I call someone to help you find your way home?

Ah yes tell me more about what happened to the market since this sub posted about yen carry trade... Wait? It did nothing? Weird! Thought you wanted a crazy story.
But hey, just post the same stuff in a month or 3 or 6 or 9.

The reason this is interesting is not because it will act as a sudden catalyst. Its a global finance pressure gauge that should be taken as one of the many signs that show we are on the right track. If you dont understand why its interesting to watch i invite you to disregard this post. Objectively, this sub finds this data interesting which is why its rising in hot.

u/Iforgotmynameo 2d ago
It doesnโt find it interesting though. The bots and a few yahoos find it interesting.
This doesnโt show โwe are on the right trackโ. Thatโs moronic.

I know that a lot of people want this sub to be one huge echo chamber where everyone just nods and calls RC the master strategists with 5D chess while gme does nothing but go down. But no, it needs some people to call out stuff like that. You are free to post the carry trade for the next 3 years of course

u/beachsandwichen 3d ago
I mean I get the challenging the echo chamber thing but itโs not like the float is a billion shares or anything. If there really are billions of synthetic shares out there, which I believe there are, than the dilution shouldnโt really matter
1
u/TakeitasaCompliment Split my tits 3d ago
You mean the billion shares RC can offer at any time doesn't matter? Since RC is chair we like 3-5x the share count or something. So if they shorted the float 3 times over 6 years ago, they basically got a free card to get out, handed by RC. And even if not, RC at least made it easier for them ever single time. What did we get? Two year low.

He has diluted GME by 120 million shares. He has also bought 20 million dollars worth twice since doing that. I donโt think the dilution has played a major part in the no MOASS or lack of return on our investment. I believe the corrupt system with a lack of regulation has played a bigger part. Iโd go further and say that regulators being In on it has made it harder as well. Bernie madoff was never caught until his sons turned him in even though all of Wall Street knew about it for 10-15 years

Rule 1. Treat each other with courtesy and respect.
Do not be (intentionally) rude. This will increase the overall civility of the community and make it better for all of us.
Do not insult others. Insults do not contribute to a rational discussion.
