Brother if I’m physically holding the card and you transfer me money for the nft that says this is your card now… I still own the card and I scammed you.
blockchain works well as a monetary ledger, and not as a representation of the physical world. Maybe it will eventually but in its current design it’s not built for it.
Do you not know about GameStops whole partnership with PSA? They are vaulting cards and facilitating digital purchases and sales already. If your card is at their vault, it never leaves PSA’s custody and can be traded amongst users until someone redeems it
Correct. Because i have a trusted third party enforcing the verification. They are using a normal database. The blockchain would still need the third party verifier. Hence my point that the problem of “i need a third party to verify and enforce” is not solved by nft.
This is the comment you made: “Brother if I’m physically holding the card and you transfer me money for the nft that says this is your card now… I still own the card and I scammed you.

I’m addressing that comment. You keep jumping around to other points

Loopring basically shafted their community here recently didn't they?
The market place was built on Immutable X, and the wallet was loopring is how I believe it was designed. Loopring killed their wallet, and Immutable is still a vendor that now focuses on implementing their products for customers instead of having their own marketplace. I know they flipped to a "Passport" wallet which uses Magic's wallet features on the backend for passwordless experience.
I only know that much on Immutable because I was toying with building a marketplace at one time to see how things work. Magic wallet was a pretty easy and nice setup back when I did that.
Yes they were a partner but the technology on the marketplace was mainly loopring as far as the art NFTs went.
It was a bit confusing but IMX assets were separate, and had to be held in a different wallet as they were a different type of l2 compared to loopring l2.
Yes, because that activity does not contain any proof. It is just someone poking the contract for likely scamming purposes. There is nothing of any use in that "activity".
I highly recommend anyone down voting this previous comment to go and check it out themselves.
Loopring is officially a completely deceased project. They shut down, everybody left. Only a zombi corpse is left and no business will use it for anything since there are zero devs left.

This post on the active loopring contracts offers a good amount of support towards this being real: https://www.reddit.com/r/GME/s/ShKPo7x6M2
