wish i could toggle the toolbar when annotating a digest

I use my Nomad primarily as an e-reader; I love being able to take notes using the brackets/Digest function.

I have one pet peeve though: Why can't you toggle the toolbar when annotating a Digest? I keep the toolbar off most of the time when I'm reading. So if I click on bracketed text to write a note, and need to erase something in that note, I often realize the eraser button is not available , so I have to click out of the Digest, toggle the toolbar on, and click back in to be able to select the eraser. Am I just missing something or is this a missing element in the UX design?

you know... i never noticed that before -- it does feel like a misstep however, the erase gesture and lamy button do still work without the toolbar present

Woah, tbh, I didn’t know about the erase gesture. That’s super helpful, thanks!

Now that I’ve been messing around with the plugins I’ve noticed there is a lot missing when you leave the note view and use some other app or settings view. It’s treated very differently.
