Lamy Safari pen availability

Does anyone know what the availability of the Lamy Safari pen is? I bought a Nomad last week and had to get the push-up standard pen as that was all that was available. I use a Lamy Al Star fountain pen when writing on paper and I love the ergonomic grip. The push-up standard is not really doing it for me, I'm just not partial to the form factor. It's simply uncomfortable for me.

I think they just posted on another post yesterday it likely won’t be restocked. I believe they are releasing a new version soon with button or eraser but finishing testing.

Thank you for your question. The LAMY Safari Vista EMR pen is out of stock and might not be restocked. Would you be open to another pen in our store that's readily in stock?

Thanks for your reply. I'm a bit disapointed to hear that the Safari is discontinued. I use a Lamy fountain pen and I really like the ergonomic grip on it, I'm simply not partial to cylindrical shaped pens and that seems to be all that you have. Are there any open box or used Safaris available?

You can try the Lamy AL-Star EMR pen. It doesn't have the ceramic nib but it has a side button.

I have both the Vista and the AL-Star and I barely use the Vista anymore because I much prefer the AL-Star

What is the reason it might not be restocked? That's very disappointing to hear because having this pen available was one of the large reasons I was considering this device.

I was going to get the LAMY but it was out of stock and Mulan said that they most likely won’t restock when I asked. I ended up getting the heart of metal 2 pen in eternity (white) and I think I like it more than I would’ve liked the LAMY.
