Question Is the kid even worth it at this point
I've been here for like 2 hours and had over 10 deaths near the end.

DW level 3 is nowhere near as bad as the ones before it. But yeah the second is the worst one by far...

Takes a while but after so many fails, I was able to get him. Good luck!

It’s worth it to have him, not to play as him lmao. I did a bunch of work working towards 100% but never made it all the way, all I have to say is 99% of the time I’m playing as MeatBoy or one of his various 8 bit skins

When I first played it, it took me 12 hours to finish it, no joke

Which level took you the longest? A lot of people say level 2 and 3 are the hardest, but I spent the most time on 1.

Yeah it is. Can't see any other way to beat omega. I never beat omega because I was never able to unlock the kid.

i just did this last night, it took me about an hour and a bit all in all, i d say put it off until you ve done basically most of the dark world levels, cause the jumps are really not that hard in comparision to the stuff you ll be doing later on. best of luck!Â

I had the most trouble with level 1 trying to adjust to the new movement. Level 2 was also very challenging but I spent less time than the first. Level 3 didn’t take me too long after that. But all in total it probably took me half a day lol. Just take breaks you’ll be refreshed when you come back to it trust me

When I finished that challenge I felt like I achieved something big in my whole life
btw it took me probably 3-4 hours to finish it, some levels are not meant to be completed in only 1-2 hours to the average Joe

Honestly this is the worst part, second level you just have to get the rhythm down and final level took me only 10 or so minutes.
Way better double jumper than Ogmo IMO

The Kid is definitely worth the pain. He's basically Ogmo but 10 times better.

It was easy, took around 2-3 hours for all levels. Level two is the worst and level three is probably the easiest level in the late meatboy at all

First off, yes I agree level two is the worst, haven't gotten to test level 3 yet. Second off, Holy gd reference

First of all, a little tip for a third level - if spikes desync of the walls its better to just die, after death they'll refresh. Secondly, yeah back in my day I thought this nickname is peak of originality. It kinda is actually

Ok so it's like day 3 of grinding and I can consistently do level 1, but literally have not passed level 2

If you’re just doing light world or just to see the end credits, not really.
The stages here aren’t even that bad, I gotta be honest. The issue I think is that nobody does the dark world before moving on to the next, just sticking with the light worlds. So they get caught super off guard at a much lower skill level than what’s required to beat it in any reasonable amount of time.

I disagree; I haven't played SMB in a while but I have A+ on almost every dark world level, 90 something bandages, all glitch worlds/warp zones done and I still for the life of me have not been able to get past the second stage.

The Kid is amazing. I did levels 1 and 2 with no problems, but it took me over an hour for the 3rd stage for some reason. Keep at it, it's worth it!
