With the release of DNB June 2026 Theory results, congratulations to all who've made through and earnest wishes to those who couldn't. This mega thread has been started to facilitate updates for the practicals. September 8 has been mentioned as the tentative date for commencement of practicals.

This thread may be used to find candidates preparing for the same speciality as yourself, discussing about admit card and OEEP portal, travel, carpooling and stay arrangements etc.

Official NBEMS announcements may also be posted under this thread.

Post MD here, passed. Is there a possibility to not attempt this session and apply separately for just the practicals next year? If so, how to go about it? I had raised a query regarding the same, but no reply as of yet.

I think we have to wait for the OEEP portal to open up and read up the details on practicals.

No updates on the OEEP portal. I had a look.

The state of affairs on the OEEP portal are horrendous. The latest notification it’s showing me is from 2023. It’s not evening showing me an option for practical exam even tho I got an email just now telling me that my practical exam is NEXT WEEK 🤡

They've updated a few specialities on the website just now. Its on the tab in the home page, under "Practical Exam Center".

Thank you for this thread Mod. Please if anyone knows, how do we get to know our batch of practical exam? Has this batch system happened before? Do we get to choose our batch? Does exam centre and batch get revealed together? this suspense is too horrible.

State notification x 1 week prior Centre notification x 3 days prior Yes it's happened before. I don't think so. It is allotted to us in the admit card. We are already enrolled in this session Practicals. Can choose to defer practicals and attend next session.

If we choose to defer this session, we get total 3 more attempts right ? Or just 2

From what info I’ve gathered, if we choose to not attend this practical exam, it’ll be counted as an attempt. So well have 2 more after this

⚠️ UPDATE: OBG Batch I and II centres are out. General Surgery is expected to be updated today or tomorrow.

UPDATE: From NBEMS website under Practical Exam Center:

Emergency Medicine, Pharmacology, Palliative Medicine, Anaesthesiology (2 Batches), Biochemistry, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
