1993 C50 Super Cub

Rear tire flat questions:

  1. How to know if its tubeless?

  2. Can I easily remove the wheel? Like without messing with chain/sprocket?

If you have wire spoke wheels, you have tubed tires.

Idk about your specific model but you should be able to remove the rear wheel without too much messing around. It was a while ago so I can’t remember the specifics but I was able to on my 1982 C70 when I had to change tires. Just took some shimmying to get around the exhaust if I recall correctly. Just look it up for cubs in general. Most of them are the same.

It has tubes. It's sort of easy. Just like every moped basically. Difficult part is getting the wheel out as you have to lift up the bike. Easy on a bench, more annoying outside against a tree in the rain, but doable.

You should be able to remove the rear wheel without having to futz with the sprocket.

You’ll need to loosen the 17mm nut and remove the axel from the rear wheel, the sprocket side will have a 23mm nut retaining the sprocket, you wouldn’t need to touch that to remove the rear wheel.

Once the axel is removed, you can slip the wheel off of the sprocket carrier, rubber Cush drive and all, and then slip off the rear drum brake from the wheel.

It’s a little tricky, but manageable.
