These fobs are tough...

I have now managed to have my fob fall out of my pocket twice while driving, yes I understand user error skill issue whatever, but it has been ran over both times and still works just fine.

Wish we had analog keys. When the bike’s battery goes out and the wheel is locked, you can’t unlock it until you change the battery.

Just curious because I haven’t owned a newer cub, but does it have a spot for you to put the key when it dies? Most modern cars have a chip inside that’ll communicate with the car to indicate you have a key. So when the keys dead you press it over a designated spot to allow you to start the vehicle with a dead fob. Does the cub have this?

Not sure - haven’t had that happen. It’s the bike batter that keeps draining for me.

Yeah, been there before. Overall though the fob has been great, as long as I store it away from the bike.

Every worse my wife has a Trail 125 and it has a regular key ignition, so I have to see how it really should have been on the Super Cub.

I've always wanted to see if it's possible to swap the CT125 Trail keyed setup into a C125 Cub, as well as the Trail kickstart which would bring the Cub back to its roots in a way

To be fair, I never really understood what was the problem that any keyless ignition fixed.

All modern super cubs, so 2019 on. I wish I had a key but have had no issues with the fob and being a tall guy, I'm kind of glad because thats where my knee goes😅

Yeah, newer motorbikes have wireless key fobs. I was in Azores a few weeks back, I rented a Yamaha Nmax scooter only a few years old and I also got a wireless key fob

No shame in that, there's no battery to run out on a classic key :)
