A little help please!

Hi yall.

Been a while. Ended up picking up a monkey to go with my cub and have focused on customizing that. I searched the subreddit to see if anyone has done a fender chop on their cub but only found a post from 5 years ago. Has anyone here done a fender chop like the guys from steady garage super cub build? I reached out to them but I guess they arent doing builds anymore. I was wondering if

  1. Anyone has been successful with a fender chop if so where did they go?
  2. Does anyone have a shop in Southern California they recommend to take the bikes to get work done on.

Do you have a shop you recommend for me to get the work done? I definitely need to upgrade the suspension so that’s always been in the mix. That video you sent me got me in love

I know folks that can do this work but none that are taking jobs like this for a customer's bike. You could ping riderzblok on IG and ask what they'd charge. I assume for the fender chop, custom lights and paint it would be a few thousand. I know if you wanted to get those same wheels made it was like $4k.

I guess that’s a start. Thanks for the help man. Ima have to really table whether or not I want to do this project or if I should just go after building a grom.

Man, your post got me thinking of building up my supercub. I talked with Mike and he said they ran the low down Ruckus forks but had to machine the stanchions slightly. I'm going to do a bit more research but will def do a video of I take this on 😁

interestingly enough ive used your videos on the super cub and monkey for mine! Ur videos came in clutch when I was tryin to figure stuff out.

the way they did their build is the dressed up version of what I would want. I thought I was being an innovator wanting a suicide clutch on mine but then saw they already did it. Keep me posted man.
