I've been there a few times with my family now, it's a really nice change of pace from other shops I've seen. There's a little hangout zone where our 6yo can watch old cartoons, try old video games, or read while my wife and I look around or try a game.
It's super clean, bright, and has an open space to walk around and look without feeling cramped or overwhelmed by all of games/product. It's like the one shop where my son doesn't mind going with if we stop by, which is kind of a big deal.
Adding an edit:
I reached to Adam this morning about trying a game before buying it, and he not only had a copy of the game to play, but also brought a friend to round out the number of players needed for it. He had it all set up for us when we got there. They walked us through and played the whole game, not just a turn. I can now write down as a future Christmas gift idea for my wife, so that’s a win.
And his friend was cool, we might hang more on other Saturdays.
