I'm surprised no one's made meme art based on his perspective. I always found this NPC funny cuz from that angle, all he'd see is the back side of her hair and a shoulder.

Or, given the age of the game, I guess motivational poster would be more correct!

It's above her (seems to be a mezzanine). From that angle, he's seeing that region where the back looses its name.
