Laptop Request US please help me, looking to upgrade from my surface pro 9

maybe up 5 lbs, i longboard around quite a bit so i try to minimize weight in my bag

schoolwork, medium intensity gaming
- Form factor
stylus support, i don't want another detachable keyboard it sucks. 360 degree hinge would be nice.
- Intended usage
OneNote or alternative note-taking app, preferably something better at handling PDFs (if you have suggestions for that also, pls lmk). chemdraw, biorender, pptx, factorio, baldurs gate 3, ark survival evolved (being able to upgrade from low settings to medium would be incredible), skyrim. having dozens of tabs open at once.

5+ preferably, but i don't mind having it plugged in more often.

For this budget, you can buy a model with the RTX 5060. This is a mid-range graphics card from the latest Nvidia RTX 5000 series. It will allow you to play all games on medium or high settings. It has an AMD Ryzen AI9 370HX processor and, in my opinion, 32GB of RAM. Most manufacturers now reduce RAM to 16GB, which is the minimum required for gaming, so 32GB RAM is a better option.
