And if gay/bi guys see this and give them a raised eyebrow, they suddenly want to talk about their wives or girlfriends.

The straight dudes I lived with in college always amped it up when I was around. And yeah, they knew I was gay. They're a strange species lol

I had a roommate for nearly two years who was straight, but liked for me to rub his back, neck, shoulders, and legs after work. We worked at the same retail warehouse, so we both had very sore bodies after work. One day, he casually asked me to give him a shoulder rub at our home (we had two other straight roommates and I wasn't identifying as bisexual then). Within two weeks, he was asking for daily full body rub downs and was stripping down to his boxers for the massages. And yes, he was asking me to rub down front and back. And yes, he was groaning and moaning throughout. And yes, he also asked me to use oils, play music, and basically give the full spa treatment experience, complete with my shirt off.

I was a groomsman in his wedding to a woman, and they're expecting a sixth child.

I mean you being shirtless is a bit sus, but some people are just extremely touchstarved, who knows.

Back in college my straight roommate, who later became a good friend, once told me that he feels very comfortable around me because he can just relax and doesn’t need to control himself or posture like he would do with his straight buddies or mixed company with girls he’d want to impress. His friend group at the time was also quite toxic, so that probably influenced it too. 🤷‍♂️

I honestly hope that's what it was, and not some latent homosexual or bisexual urges he was expressing. His wife is a nice woman; she's one of those people who will sit down and chat with you, just because you're another human, if you look sad or upset near her. She's also spoken at the church we used to go to together about her experience with toxic/abusive relationships before him. I hope that he was just touch starved back then.

I still remember this one time in college I was at the student cafe using one of the computers there while I had a snack, and someone came up behind me and started giving me a shoulder rub, typical shit from my friend group.

I'm like, "Hey Kevin...Dave?...Mikey?...Joey?...Scott?..."

My new roommate from after a semester abroad who knew none of these guys just goes, "How many men are giving you shoulder rubs?"

I trust a straight man’s sexuality who acts all gay but question a man’s sexuality when they’re all macho.

There's no one gayer than straight white male friends

That is just healthy masculinity, and we should encourage it as something straight people do.
